Is the US the only country where a dissident like Trump can return to power?

Dissidents usually end up getting the Oswaldo Paya treatment like in Cuba.

It is my personal opinion that the separation of powers, an independent judiciary, and the Constitution/Bill of Rights allowed a dissident like Trump to return to the presidency.

Every single social, financial, political, entertainment, media, news, and educational institution in the country was set up against Trump and he still won.

This is the reason the Democrats constantly go after the Supreme Court and constantly say they want to pack it. Just look at Biden, Kamala, and the Democrats recent openly published plans to change the Supreme Court. In a country like Venezuela, the Supreme Tribunal of Justice happily does whatever the regime wants.

It is also quite shocking how similar Biden, Kamala, and the Democrats "reforms" to the Supreme Court of the United States are to the actual functioning structure of The Supreme Tribunal of Justice in Venezuela. Chavez with the 1999 constitution eliminated the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela and replaced it with the The Supreme Tribunal of Justice.

Republicans must protect the Supreme Court and the Bill of Rights/Constitution at all costs.

Trump won for one primary reason, the horrible economy and one secondary reason, immigration. People who voted for him this time but not before just didn't buy into the idea that Harris was going to get things done. It was more an admonishment of her and the Dems and not so much some full throated change to a conservative stance. The number of people that voted for Trump but then other dems down ballot was much larger this time. And there were many financial, political, media etc sources that were set up specifically to support the Republican nominee....even if deep down they hoped it wouldn't be Trump again. The number of politicians that bit their tongue and publicly supported him increased. I mean look at Vance and Kennedy who both called Trump Hitler in the recent past and now supported him. Trump....as the R nominee....had plenty of support. But I do agree that our separation of powers allowed things to play out as they should and I hope they continue to.

They eventually caught up to Napoleon and exiled him to the one of the most remote islands in the world 1000 miles off the coast of Africa where he lived out the rest of his life.

Meanwhile, attempts to jail Trump collapsed.

Two assassination attempts failed.

Attempts to seize his property were ineffective as he used earned-media to wrest control of the narrative and get reelected.

An unbelievable course of events.

Wouldn't even believe it I was't here to see it.

Dissident? What official policy does Trump oppose?

If anything Biden is a dissident usurping congress on education loan forgiveness and his non-enforcement of immigration law.

The Supreme Tribunal of Justice of Venezuela would have agreed with Colorado and other Democrats states and removed him from the ballot.

Also Trump survived two Oswaldo Paya attempts against him.

Trump survived 100s of politically motivated charges brought against him.

Trump received 85 percent negative coverage from the national mainstream news media while Kamala and the Democrats received 99 percent positive coverage from the mainstream national news media.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/coverage-trump-harris-presidential-race-most-lopsided-history-85-negative-trump-report

I do agree that Trump won because the Democrats absolutely failed on Inflation/high prices, illegal immigration, and violent crime.

However, Cruz won by a 4 times larger margin than in 2018 and only 2-2.5 points less than Abbott/Patrick/Paxton did in 2022. Republicans did well all around. McCormick won which is shocking considering that Casey and his dad are absolute loyalty in Pennsylvania. Sherrod Brown was also beloved in Ohio as was Tester in Montana because they pretended to be moderates while voting 100 percent with Biden and Democrats.

Charlie Kirk: "Unbelievable. Over the past eight years, the federal government has funneled more than a quarter-billion dollars to study "misinformation" and censor Americans more effectively.

In 2016, the regime blamed "misinformation" and "fake news" for Hillary Clinton losing. In 2020, they blamed it for the public's opposition to tyrannical lockdowns, forced injections, and mask mandates. The regime has spent huge amounts trying to figure out how to make censorship "better" so that public dissent is impossible.

The Trump administration must abolish all of these grants, and fire the people who made them.

DOGE is coming."
