I cannot believe this is where we are as a society, that this is even part of the national discussion. Like if you told me twenty years ago, that one of the great debates of the 2020's would be whether men should be able to play womens sports and then change and shower with them afterwards, use womens' restrooms, etc etc...I would have thought you were certifiably insane....I would have considered such a future America impossible.

And here we are. And that's not even the craziest...we are removing the breasts of 12-13 yr old girls, giving puberty blockers to minors, and putting gay carton p0rn books in childrens school libraries.

Twenty years ago, if someone could have convinced me that they came from the future and showed me evidence of such things being reality, I probably would have recommended massive labor camps and sterilization for leftists as a solution. But it was such a slow creep, up until the last few yrs.

Restroom- probably not, but it's by no means impossible

Speaking of this, I watched Mrs. Doubfire this weekend. Mrs Doubtfire's true identity was given away when his son walks in on him using the bathroom. Forgot about that scene.

1. Who in the deep pits of Hades voted the Trans into office?
2. How horrible of an opponent would one have to be to lose to it?

For those asking about feminine hypocrisy, I'm only assuming here but I imagine her complaining about a "man" forcing his way into the same bathroom when she forced her way into an all male institution. A bit apples and oranges but legitimately both fruit. I see where they are coming from. Imagine all of the accommodations and changes that had to be made because she chose that school instead of the millions of other schools that didn't have a tradition of all male students. She didn't belong there but forced her way in (see the parallel?).

She attended the Citadel. She was not "claiming to be male." She was the first female graduate from the Citadel's Corps of Cadets.

Why is it so hard for Democrats to understand that most women do not want men in places where women are vulnerable (restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, etc?) If you are a man trying to imply or saying that Nancy Mace is wrong, stand down and know your place. I don't care what they do in Europe and I don't care what you or you liberal friends are comfortable with. I don't want biological males in women's spaces. Period. They can use your spaces. This isn't hard.

You completely missed the point I was trying to illustrate. I don't think anyone is saying she was a physical threat, just that in both cases they are pushing against norms. The man that thinks he's a woman (or identifies as one or whatever) has no business in a women's bathroom and could be a threat possibly. That isn't where the "hypocrisy" angle comes in.

I was in Italy in 2012 before "transgender" was even a mainstream topic of debate. I was surprised at the Unisex bathrooms but it was a complete non event, women weren't getting assaulted, and you had more privacy in the individual stalls. This was in the corporate bathrooms of an oil company.

Meanwhile in the U.S. people are losing their minds at an accepted non-problematic convention in other countries. Do these women actually believe Sarah McBride is going to assault them? It's all posturing.

Wish they would focus on real issues instead of their obsession with trans people. Fix the freaking healthcare system and housing for god's sake.

Also, fix housing and healthcare? Yeah OK, lib. What "fixes" do you want to see in those respective issues?

What about men in women's sports? What about chemical and surgical mutilation of minors in name of gender affirming care? What about the open borders that your fellow Dems created?

Also why is it either/or? You think the legislatures doesn't have enough time to deal with multiple issues?

Unisex bathrooms are not the same as a man going into a women's restroom or locker room.

Unsex bathrooms are set up differently than standard male/female bathrooms.

We can fix two things at once. Fix part of the healthcare system by not allowing it to force the rest of us to indulge the trans mental delusions.

The US is not Europe. It shows in a lot of ways, one of which is how our public bathrooms are constructed and used.

As far as fearing assault, I guess you missed the video posted of a man badly cosplaying a woman directly threatening a woman over bathroom use.

Public universities were prohibited from disallowing females long before she entered The Citadel. She should not have had to.force her way in, any more than blacks should.
