Slightly off topic but several have mentioned Bud Light. I seldom buy beer, the only beer I drink is if someone leaves some at our house. But we had a rehearsal dinner on Sunday for my son's wedding and I went to buy beer. I wondered if the Bud Light situation was the same and yes, it was. A lot of Bud Light inventory just as when that all started.

As to the Jaguar ad, it looks pretty ghey. Anyone who thought that was a good idea should be fired.

What a great rebranding. Not only does it alienate your most loyal customers, but it also creates a toxic workplace.

If Jag's goal is to put a sudden end to the brand, it appears that they found a successful means to accomplish that goal.

Something about the "car" in the pic looks like it was hand drawn by a good artist but one that was rushed. Somehow the straight lines that I assume are meant to be parallel, seem just slightly off.

Kind of like they threw this together at the last moment because they are in panic mode and what ever they were going to show was even worse.

Story time...

When I was back in HS I was riding around with a friend of mine whose dad happened to be the service manager at the local import auto sales store. We saw a Jaguar rolling and I asked my friend where they might have purchased it. He replied that they carried Jaguars at the import dealer his dad worked for. I had no idea, but he passed by the dealer and sure enough, there was a jag symbol on their signage. Some time later we were out driving and looking for something to do, so he drove to the import store to tell his dad something. Then he took me out to the service bay where they had maybe a dozen lifts and something like ten of them had Jaguars on them. "This is the reason you never see a Jaguar on the street, because the service bay is where they spend all their time"
