Basically, he wants to kill the bacteria in a cow's stomach

Which means that the cow will starve to death

Well at least he's now being transparent that he has completely misused or redefined what the word "vaccination" means - and to him it is literally altering the biological makeup of a living creature in any way he deems an "improvement"

He's like a real life Dr Moreau

How many cows does it take to produce as much "greenhouse gas" as the planes he personally owns?

They keep talking about cattle, but they never bring up horses, pigs, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens or any other animals people raise and keep around the world. They all fart and **** and allegedly unnecessarily pollute the environment. Why ? ? ?

My guess is that they see raising cattle generally requires lots of land. They probably want the land. So putting cattle ranchers out of business will allow them to buy the land cheap.

Just another plan for the rich to steal from the not so rich.

I'm sure he said all of this **** then sat down for a 200$ wagyu steak dinner while on his way home in his private jet.

Gates never actually did any programming. He built Microsoft by buying someone else's product.

He was one of the first to realize the money was in software and not hardware. He sold an operating system to IBM that he didn't have so he found someone that had written one and purchased it from him for peanuts and that became MS DOS. What you are remembering did happen but that was later with Windows.

That's a very interesting point, other animals and mainly pigs and chickens release all kinds of gases yet they are never mentioned

Depopulate and cool the planet is the ultimate power centralization plan.

This is because ruminants release much more methane than single stomach animals. In the west this means cattle are the primary target because they are estimated to be near 50% of all livestock emissions. Swine is about 5% and poultry is under 2%.

The whole thing is dumb but this is why cattle are always called out.

This is the man that built a 66,000 square foot house for his family of 5. Not to mention is other 5 mansions, Plus, he has 4 private jets, which he averages more than a flight per day on, plus 2 helicopters. I'm sure his fleet of cars is equally impressive and I'm sure many of them don't get more than 10 MPG.

Getting rid of Bill Gates would cut emissions significantly.

Methane is a powerful greenhouse gas that traps heat 28 times more effectively than carbon dioxide over a 100-year timescale. Concentrations of methane have increased by more than 150% since industrial activities and intensive agriculture began. After carbon dioxide, methane is responsible for about 23% of climate change in the twentieth century. Methane is produced under conditions where little to no oxygen is available. About 30% of methane emissions are produced by wetlands, including ponds, lakes and rivers. Another 20% is produced by agriculture, due to a combination of livestock, waste management and rice cultivation. Activities related to oil, gas, and coal extraction release an additional 30%. The remainder of methane emissions come from minor sources such as wildfire, biomass burning, permafrost, termites, dams, and the ocean. Scientists around the world are working to better understand the budget of methane with the ultimate goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving prediction of environmental change. For additional information, see the Global Methane Budget.

Sources of methane

Cattle are a small part of "natural" methane production. The major sources include wetlands, rice farming, and termites.

Wonder why you don't see billionaires calling for the cessation of rice farms?

current options, will vary by location so they can impact that particular population:

  • vaxx cows to destroy their internal biome for digesting grasses and producing methane (of course no analysis of impact to overall animal health OR to the quality of vitamins/minerals to be found in its meat).

OR

  • or drug them to do the same

OR

  • stick metal thing under skin and burn the methane.

Bill Gates: "Cows are about 5% of global emissions, which is pretty unbelievable. Wild. And if your goal is to get to zero, you don't get to skip the cows or the steel or the cement or any of those big areas. So there's a whole class of solutions of making meat without cows."

"Today, it doesn't taste as good and it costs too much. It's going through a little bit of a lull, but those companies, Impossible Beyond, Memphis and others, are pursuing that. In terms of the cows, we actually have, we pursued many solutions."

"So one is to vaccinate the cows in a way that their gut bacteria that emit the methane, which is also called natural gas for CH4, which is the second most important greenhouse gas, you can vaccinate them and that species of bacteria isn't there."

"Their stomachs are very special because they can eat grass. It's a three-stage fermentation process, basically. There's another way you can change what they eat and you could either put that in their water or their feed. There is a drug to change the microbiome, not a vaccine, but a drug."

"That looks very promising. And then there's a solution where you stick a sort of a metal thing into the skin of the cow, and it actually burns the methane. And all of these look to be quite cheap and implementable, even in Africa. And so this is one where I wasn't hopeful when I got started a decade ago. And now it's just a question of which solution. for which country ends up being the best."

Cows was the first thing I thought of. And let's not forget all the other animals. You can't get to zero emissions with them around. What about humans?

If the issue is cows producing too much methane, changing the feed seems like the best course of action. Trials involving adding small amounts of a particular type of seaweed to their feed reduced methane in their farts by 98% but also caused some significant health issues and isn't a viable solution. Finding something like this which doesn't impact the cow's health would be ideal.

It caused significant health issues because that is essential to the gut biome of the cows. There is a reason large mammals can grow **** tons of muscle eating plants and we can't. Their gut is completely different. You can't just change its function and expect them to stay healthy
