Don't you understand? Russia is entitled to a sphere of influence and vassal states because reasons… even if it has to kill civilians and their infrastructure in those states to do so.

I have. Enough to know David Sachs is full of **** and the new Scott Ritter.

Yeah, I dont really care what some libertarian ideolouge thinks on this situation.

You must agree that Russia had the duty and right to invade Ukraine to keep it under its sphere of influence.

. Putin said that no real damage was caused in the Bryansk attack. Note that there's no satellite photos (or any other secondary information) even remotely suggesting that any real damage was caused. So, it appears the reports that S-400 systems did shoot down the ATACMS were right, I guess.

Perhaps the secondary explosions were an elaborate ruse

People like David Sachs would do a lot more to help their cause if they simply gave an ounce of blame to Russia. But they don't. They completely excuse them, of not just Ukraine but everything including Chechnya and Georgia. Look through his twitter. There's not a single negative thing said about them. Even if you believe the US instigated a lot in Ukraine, you can still be critical of Russia. But they don't. Ever. And it clearly shows bias.

This is the same poster that once tried to pass off proof of an ATACMS being shot down because it 1. Exploded in the air above its target and 2. Showed images of its spent bomblets lying all over the ground.

But it would be ok for Russia to finance, provide Intel, military assets, etc to assist Ukrainians in overthrowing the current Ukrainian government, right?

Again, please cite what insane memory you have if you are going to lie about what you believe I posted. I think you believe it but it's never true. I do apologize for taking up so much space in your head.

Sachs knows more about Russian-American history post-cold war than any of us, because he was literally there in the rooms, not just some combat service support enlisted guy who became an expert at MRNA vaccines and all manner of Russian warfare/politics.

But anyway, your predictions/claims are similarly hilarious to your recollections of my posts:

Yes. That's modern peaceful diplomacy. And civilians and thousands upon thousands don't die. And Russia did do everything you said. They just got worse at it and we won.
Who?mikejones!
How long do you want to ignore this user?
They do that when they can anyway. That's the game.

You didn't see the usa invade Ukraine with their military to stop them from being influenced by Russia or to keep Russia from Crimea.

Now you might say we did "invade" ukriane, but through influence. Ukraine is/was a sovereign nation and one that has a unique place in the modern world. Russia has been exerting control over Ukraine for decades. Because they lost what's essentially a diplomatic conflict doesn't give legitimacy to a full scale military invasion such as they did.

In no world has what Russia has done been the correct action.

I'll add- China is doing that every day all around the world. You don't see us invading Peru to stop the construction of a deep water port. The answer is a diplomatic one, not a military one. The fact Russia is so inept at it doesnt mean they get to invade a neighbor.

Here's where you tried to pass off a picture of an unexploded bomblet as evidence of ATACMS getting shot down. Turns out he wasn't lying, you are. Again.

Thank you. So the lie that we weren't sending High dud rate cluster munitions pencil whipped by Biden team to say they wouldn't leave unexploded ordinance is the outrage. Pretty funny really. But sad for Ukrainians, as it's their farmers and kids who will stumble upon those for decades. And of course…nothing I said was a lie.

And they'd have nothing to worry about if Putin didn't invade. Weird how you haven't criticized Russia for mining Ukraine too.

"See ATACMS are being shot down en masse, the Russian Ministry of Defense says so"

You need to pick a narrative. Either these weapons are harmless or they will directly start WW3.

No. In reality it can be both (and likely is): this isn't a dichotomy. I think your tendency to see things in a binary way is something that precludes us having a productive discussion, as usual.

These weapons can still cross a red line for long range attacks on Russia proper via American/Nato weapons and targeting while also being ineffective. And it's clearly a coordinated effort, not some idiotic idea of our own demented commander in chief, who isn't running anything;

The goal seems clear that the EU/Nato/US leadership in the waning days of Joe Biden is seeking escalation, even if using ineffective platforms/weapons (such as ancient Fencers and ATACMS etc.)

Again, Americans are safer if Russians at least perceive that they are winning, and Biden leaves office. That's what I care about, not comparisons between corruption and casualties, or semantics about blame etc.

Five missiles were shot down and a sixth damaged and caused a "fire"

The "fire":

Russia probably counts this as the ammunition depot taking the ATACMS out as it hit the ground.

Cluster munitions, artillery, white phosphorus, land mines, and trench warfare.

Not much changed in 100 years other than the ability to destroy tanks with a drone bought off Temu.

And then it turns out it's not even an ICBM. And you're right about the intended target, this thread is proof it worked.
So the headline is that we've seen ICBM launched for the first time ever in war.

And the analysis on here is that (1) it's not technically an ICBM; and (2) that it missed, and (3) by taking note of this unprecedented occurrence means that Russian propaganda worked.

True 4d level trolling.

He's been the sane one all along.

Yep, pretty sane to launch an unprovoked war against a neighbor and then purposefully and deliberately target civilians in an effort to "liberate" them.

And this must be more that "no one supports Putin" I keep hearing repeated over and over.

I stand by my statement as you just continue to flippantly ignore the years of soft aggression against Russia. Not surprised you do that though because you are a war monger.

For Teslag and all those who claim NATO expansion is not a concern of Russia. For those who claim Russia wasn't provoked and that no assurances were ever made to them about not expanding NATO. Are all of these sited footnotes "Russian Propaganda"? It's time to stop denying historical facts. Russia is our enemy, but they certainly have legit grievances and we have no business wasting our money on this war.
