Yes. Mid-Novenber and the lowest temp we have had overnight was in the upper 40s, for one night. Last night.

Still was in the upper 70s today.

Being outspoken and participating in elections is how you change this, alot of the "green" energy sources are subsidized so much, they can make money in very hard markets, unlike conventional thermal generation.

26kw generac installed for 14k ish. New build with a generator in mind so we already had a pad and some wiring for it. Powered off a in ground propane tank

We have a 500gal tank and if I recall correctly it's supposed to burn 3-4 gallons per hour at full load

The don't fill it to 100% right? Usually only 85%.

We have several of these and used them a couple times before getting a whole home generator. Great cheap insurance and great for outdoor activities like kids sports or hunting. They use the one pound bottles which I keep 10 or so of and you can also get a hose and special adapter to connect to regular 5 gallon propane tanks.
