Pence was the first of many, many mistakes made by Trump the first time around with regard to the people he surrounded himself with.

Brother, you need to really consider what you are saying because people are watching what you say in the Lord's church. We need not put our trust in the princes of men because they will always fail us. Trump can fail us because he is a man. Only God and Christ are worthy of our complete trust.

It is irrelevant what you think about Pence, although I may caution the language that you use to judge him. He is absolutely right to condemn and oppose RFK Jr for his stance on abortion, which is nothing more than the worship of Molech. As a proclaimer of God's word we must always up hold the truth. You may not like Pence but he is speaking the truth. As a Christian we should acknowledge it and not default to attacking the messenger. Jesus told the people to heed the teachings of those who sat in the seat of Moses but not follow their actions. The truth is the truth.

Also as followers of Jesus we must always be God first. That is most important not America First. The kingdoms of men come and go but God's kingdom endures forever.

God bless you, your good wife and all your little ones.

Brother,

Pence is a scumbag and all too happy to bring disarray to the Trump team because he sold out and no longer has a career in politics.

I do find it concerning that RFK is that pro-abortion.
He's liberal. He's pro-universal/single-payer health care, too. That's what you get.

RFK's position on abortion is completely irrelevant. Pence sucks so bad. Swamp rat through and through - protecting big pharma buddies is really his aim here. He is a complete piece of ***** One of the most fake, tv preacher pieces of **** to ever be VP. He's the type that while preaching some holier than thou bull****, you better make sure to put a hand on your wallet

And what does the Bible have to say about people that sit idly by while evil is being done? We can't really abstain from this issue.
Can't we?
What does the Bible have to say about enforcing laws within the framework of a democratic republic?
What does the Bible have to say about allowing others to commit sins?
What did Jesus say his followers should do with regard to sins that were perfectly legal according to Roman law?
What did the Twelve and the subsequent Apostles say in the New Testament about our obligation to go into the world and stop the sins of all nations?

So Pence does not want RFK to be head of HHS because of RFK's stance on abortion, that correct?

Isn't abortion up to the states? So why does it matter what the HHS says on abortion?
RFK supports abortion including partial birth abortions and he also supports single-payer/universal healthcare from the government.
Okay.

Taken as a whole, is he a step closer to the right direction than the previous person who held this position?

I'm as much an ideological purist as anyone, but as I age I've learned to separate Ideology from Practice. Or rather, to recognize Practice is the method by which you move steadily closer to your pure Ideology.

I am not omnipotent.
The world will never be exactly what I want it to be.
I have very limited time on Earth and extremely limited influence on events here.
Since I cannot just snap my fingers and perform miraculous stunts as I please, I must accept the nature of Reality.
The nature of Reality is that I will spend my life steadily trying to push in the direction I desire. I will never get there, and definitely cannot get there on my own.

Therefore, I must not rob myself of steady intentional movement by coming to a stop to insist everything in the world must meet my standard of purity before I take the next step. That is a trap that gives goodfeels of winning, but is actually a retreat into illusion, a fantasy, a refusal to live with what is and accept that we see things dimly, we only know in part, we are noisy gongs and clanging cymbals. This world is not my home and it will never be Good. I am not responsible for forcing the world to be Good, nor, even if I had the power to do so, would I be capable of doing that, because I myself am not Good - I am a flawed animal living under the shelter of whatever Grace exists. This world is not perfectable by human agency. What I can and should do, is do and say things which I hope will move parts of the world a little closer to Good today than they were yesterday, even as I know that all the forward motion is only temporary because this world is temporary and fickle.

What are you talking about? This has nothing to do with abortion, and everything else you said has nothing to do with what RFKj is doing.

RFK Jr is having to walk back some of his racidal abortion views. Even the Catholic media put out articles on his Catholic faith & views on Abortion. That said as long as he does what Trump lays out it's a moot point.

It doesn't? Pence said people should oppose RFK Jr because he supports abortion all the way through partial birth abortion. HHS has a direct impact on abortion funding. Anyone who opposes abortion should be concerned about RFK Jr running HHS.

As an evangelist you cannot turn a blind eye to that. I know we taught that ones has to stand on principle when you worshiped with us in College Station.

That is what my understanding was on RFKjr role was. I thought he was just put in charge of improving the food and addressing issues with big pharma.

My understanding is that since row v wade was overturned that it is now a state issue. If he has any authority to if money is allocated to planned parenthood then I stand corrected. In that case of course I dont support any tax payer funding of abortion. I doubt anyone in that position would change that if they even have that power.

If I'm wrong about him having anything to do with abortion then ok fair enough.

To be clear I would never vote for, and I'm not a fan of RFKJR on any issue except for the very specific role that I thought he was being put in charge. So my beef with Pence had nothing to do with abortion, and everything to do with him opposing the agenda that he once pretended to support.

My understanding was that he is opposing this administration's attempt to make america healthy again, and to work against the corruption in the food and medical industries. My belief is that he is corrupt, and He seems to take the side of the establishment, big pharma, and the military industrial complex at every turn. That is my judgment.

Pretty sure the HHS secretary is just an advisory role. Abortion just seems like an excuse to go after him for what he was actually brought in for.
