The guy's brain has to be melted by now. He's so mad that Musk bought Twitter, and he's got this weird unhinged seething rage behind every post. He might actually rival Keith Olbermann for political psychosis.

Wasn't this guy supposed to leave the site multiple times by now?

I had nightmares about clowns in the gutters when IT was first published.

Maybe I shouldn't have read it three times over the years.

He's a great author. He just needs to keep his politics to himself.

I forget the book, but heard he wrote the whole thing coked and boozed out of his mind and to this day, doesn't remember writing it.

Would have been better if he asked him how the leg was.

I have always considered him to be one of the most terrifying looking humans to ever live. Images of him used to scare me as a child.

As a believer in physiognamy, no way I would let him anywhere near my child. Didn't he do so much cocaine while writing several books that blood would be streaming onto the paper and typewriter? He's a perfect depraved and degenerate fit for the modern democrat party. Godless with a scrambled brain.

I dunno. If you can stick with it, The Stand is pretty good. There's just a lot to trudge through for character set up.

I'm currently on Book 4 of The Dark Tower series. I liked the first three, but four has sucked, and King has a weird ass fetish with sexual thoughts in dumbest of moments.

Needful Things is definitely a good book. A truly scary look into humanity's greed.

I was dealt a full house and three people died.

We did that back in June this year. Really nice hotel. Took the Ghost Tour rather than the Shining tour (which sounded like it was more about the author's time at the hotel than anything else). Enjoyed the hedge garden out front.

The Stanley Hotel is the name of the place.

Could have sworn that was a Steven Wright joke.

You should read the book. Its very good,. A scary read as well. The two part mini series with David Soul didn't really follow the book as closely but the later remake with Rob Lowe followed it a bit better.

Just like most of his books, that tweet started off entertaining but he failed to stick the landing. Great job making the unintended point that Musk didn't ban you from Twitter just because he doesn't like your POV.

This is one big casualty, or maybe some would say perk, of modern communications and social media. All the prominent people who would have been kept on a pedestal decades and centuries ago with a professionally manicured image are now transparent as common people, for better or worse. They're just as capable of being petty and idiotic and laughable as anyone else.

I grew up reading a bunch of his books and appreciate many of the movies and shows based on his stories but he's a weirdo for sure, and seemingly very angry. But at the same time if I started eliminating all the books and shows and movies and albums and so on of people I disagreed with politically or socially that would suck. So I normally try to just avoid paying attention to them outside of whatever they produce.

I think it's part of the same reason we'll never again have movie stars like the golden age of Hollywood or rock stars like the 60s and 70s and 80s, everybody is just so overexposed and in our faces every day, right down to the most trivial of things. There's no mystique to anything or anyone anymore. Which, again, might be preferable for some.
