I use to be a prominent, vocal Alex Jones hater. However, i allow evidence to change my view and the fact is the guy is right more often then his detractors are willing to give him credit for.

His problem is that he started in the early days of the internet. We are still figuring out this "discernment" thing as a society since we have basically infinite information available, so there are plenty of people that listened to him that took the reactions to what he said too far.
I have never watched a single info wars episode or listened.
That said, I hope libs keep this same energy celebrating these rulings the next few years. The shoe on the other foot will be very entertaining.

So in reality it's more of a Drudge situation. As I mentioned previously: this is terrain denial. Depriving your adversary of an established site in hopes of scattering the users.
Does this slow him down? Sure. But it doesn't stop him. That's the issue. The left's media empire is failing. Ratings are down, news is basically dead on OTA TV, they tried before and are trying again to build a radio network to counter talk radio (which is also dying), they've destroyed a friendly podcast ecosystem and turned it sharply right, they're two steps behind on online media, and without that ecosystem they'll be in much rougher shape.

None of the clapping seals have actually listened to Jones: they've formed strong emotional options off of the MSM portrayal and their selective clips.
The truth is Jones primarily highlights things the media publishes but spun in the opposite direction. Watch him with Rogan and you'll see nearly everything he rants and screams about is based on MSM reported events.
Is he my cup of tea? No. He has a highly emotional delivery that I can't take in large doses. But if he were 100% crazy he wouldn't be a threat the left is invested in destroying. He has a following because he's actually right 90%+ of the time. He's known for being terribly wrong in one very unwise story, but he's far less dangerous or dishonest than The View.
