I honestly think it could work. It would take some guts and savvy to pull it off, but with the right backing (Musk) Cruz could do it.

Just the threat of it might cause Cornyn not to run again. He's had it easy for so long I seriously doubt he wants to risk losing a difficult, expensive campaign. Especially after seeing how 2024 played out.
