I think if Cornyn pisses off Trump with his…typical backstabbing bs then the latter could endorse Paxton to challenge him. I know the endorsement game usually doesn't matter but for Cornyn-"someone" 2026 it could have a pretty big impact.

He really managed to not have a primary challenger in 2020, and 'off year' (non potus) elections are when senators can be beaten. Not a prediction, just my two cents.

Crazy that's he's been a senator for almost a quarter of a century.

He's had primary challenges the last 2 elections but voters stubbornly select the RINO.

Paxton would be a much, much better primary challenger.
