Cornyn is practically untouchable by any primary challenger at this point. He has the money Hoovered up to keep a challenger (that cannot self fund) to beat him.
I had occasion to address an issue at HUD that could have very adversely affected my industry. At the time, Cornyn, Kaye Bailey were Senators and Lloyd Doggett (blech) my House rep.
Had meaningful dialogue with KBH's office. Not a damn peep from either Cornyn nor Doggett. Not even, "We received your inquiry and will look into it," nada, nothing.
