You're being sarcastic, right?

Not at all. I think you're missing the point. When democrats get in power, they funnel millions to documentary projects and grassroots organizations, republicans give zero. And then they wonder why they're behind on messaging.

Behind on messaging because they aren't stealing my tax dollars. I'll take that. You do you, "funnel tax dollars to allies" guy

There are plenty of other celebrities they Harris/Walz campaign paid for endorsements according to FEC filings.

Here is the short list so far.

$10 million to Beyonc
$5 million to Megan Thee Stallion
$2.3 million to Lizzo
$1.8 million to Eminem
$1 million to Oprah

I am not even close to being a legal expert, but I thought paid political ads has to be disclosed to the public. From what I can see many of these celeb "endorsements" were actually paid advertisement from campaign funds.

Any of our more legal minded folks here have any details or precedent's set in previous elections?

Oprah drives herself and doesn't have reserved parking (parks on the street)?

This is why you never listen to actors outside of a show. It's all BS. The underlying motive is someone pays them to ACT like they give a *****

Isn't that the exact amount her campaign is in debt? Maybe they can just donate it back.

hahahaha and there are tons of folks dumb enough to actually believe this gem

You have no idea what you're talking about. I'll give you a few minutes to look into Cerno's background.

Not sure what you're getting at here...I genuinely can't tell now if you actually believe that as a true statement (regardless of whether or not the tweet was facetious...)

I assumed the tweet was sarcastic (given who said it) but pointed out that it is usually the true belief of the left.

Surely you aren't insinuating that you agree with that as a true statement right? ...right? because that would be hilariously daft

Nicole Arbour called it out since they were paid to advertise for a candidate but they did not have it marked as a paid advertisement which is against the law. If Gatorade did the same thing the it would be listed as a paid advertisement

I have no idea what your point is ' if it's to laugh at how much democrats spent and didn't win the election, that's awesome

My point was to reiterate what cerno was saying that republicans do a poor job of funding supporters. Everyone who got paid to endorse Kamala would have done it for free. The bigger point is that when republicans get in power, they don't fund grassroots effort or orgs to further their agenda. That's why they're always behind on messaging and media.

Harpo Production received $1M. This is Oprah's get out of jail card. Of course this is money laundering.

You seem to forget that Kamala just got her ass kicked by the republican messaging and media. At much less cost.

Legally, Harpo Productions and Oprah are completely different entities.
So Harpo Productions could be paid for helping set up stage, sound system, cameras, and various other things. By handling it this way Oprah is not paid for her endorsement but she still makes money for her interview or appearances at fund raisers.

Same could be said for each of those celebrities and their production companies.

What people fail to realize is that when you are rich enough you skirt rules quite easily. The same people who want to eat the rich don't realize how the rich play them so easily.

I'd imagine America is burned out on the back and forth gotcha stuff, I know I am to a point and want to move forward and (hopefully) fix a whole bunch of what is wrong which should happen at least to some extent.

The gal talking to Cuomo has basically set up what should be the Republican-mantra going forward.

"Your $10-25 dollar donations which you scraped together to give the Harris campaign was given to millionaires."

This is a true statement and I would dig further if I were the RNC to put together a detailed list of how the money was squandered, AND highlight as well their inability to even manage the funds (remaining debt, unpaid workers). Working folks will carry the R party to new heights and especially when the economy is booming again due to Trump policies. The conditions are ripe to chart this new course - for the long haul.
Pretty sure most of you don’t know me.

lol, Cuomo's close is hilarious. "I can't disagree with anything you said, except the no drinking and marijuana thing, but, hey, you make your own choices."

I imagine Harris' campaign finance filings will be the most publicly scrutinized ever.
