Look the structural problem for the Democrats is that they have created three parallel paths for their party: professional, donor and activist. All three are significantly more leftist than their voters and the American public. They have created an ecosystem wherein they use public and private money to sustain, train and entertain these three groups that are solely based around the values and bubbles in DC, NYC, LA San Francisco and Boston. These are so far removed from the everyday it's created a huge disconnect. To really reform their party they will either have to break out of that mold or they will need to recapture or expand their coalition which will both be very difficult.

And completely gas-lit everyone on the most important number….75. As in people polled indicated that 75% of these people saw the polices of Biden, which she failed to extricate herself from, are on the wrong track

Her campaign was an utter disaster from soup to nuts. Pollling out front should have told ya….election results did!

I think it's more of an indictment of how pliable and gullible they think women are. Apparently they're easily led and influenced by celebrities because they're too stupid to think for themselves.

Harris ran on forcing the billionaires to pay their "fair share". She'd help everyone, not just the rich like Trump. Then, she holds these rallies and surrounds herself on stage with people worth tens of millions, hundreds of millions, or billions of dollars.

Trump shows up in a garbage truck, and actually got out and met with working people. Voters noticed.

I still can't quite tell if Dems truly believe their own self delusions out of hubris and ego or if they just know they must be seen to profess belief to maintain status with peers. I think for most it is somewhere in the middle of that. They know they have to stay with the ideological dogma and "conform or be cast out", but they also want to believe thei opposition is terrible to justify their own feelings of spite and resentment so the confirmation bias kicks in and they don't apply the level of scrutiny to their own information that they otherwise might. I think deep down they suspect some of the more outlandish claims they make are exaggerated or false but are still justifiable means to an end. The lies and misinformation might as well be true because they are useful.

I take it after enough of this, they begin to believe more and more of their collective body of propaganda. They're not trying to convince new converts. They are trying to justify their own negative emotions and spiteful actions.
