Social media leftists like to bag on "boomers" for their assumed trumpiness. But boomers are a threat to our freedom because all they care about is themselves and handouts.

You're welcome from me, too. I wonder - did the children of Gen X, who would be Millenials for early Gen-X and Zoomers for later Gen-X, vote Trump. My two millenials and one zoomer certainly did, along with their wives.

Boomers absorb mostly MSM so it's not surprising that they begin to lean left over time after listening to enough of their propaganda.

Maybe they should split the Boomers into 2 categories: alive and dead.

I applaud the GenX vote. But this isn't so much a testament to generational character as a function of where they are in their life-cycle.

Gen X is at peak earnings. They have their homes, their kids are growing/grown. Society and media has lurched left from their cultural formulation. Of course we should expect them to vote right.

I'm actually quite impressed with GenZ men. They are smelling through the BS at a much higher rate than the previous generations of young men.

The oldest boomers are in fact dying off. With that comes the younger boomers who are the ones that are split between off the deep end liberalism and Reagan conservatism.

Thankfully it was the Reagan conservative boomers that had more children instead of killing more children. They are the parents of the most conservative generation in existence right now. Gen X. Although there are signs of conservative life among the Zs.

Gen X here and glad to hear we brought it home. time for us to step up moving forward and take the mantle the boomers should have given up long ago.

I think that many boomers are spent most of their life with media that was trustworthy and they largely believe that their government, although always flawed, had good intentions.

It seems like many of them are just not willing to admit that the media is mostly leftist propaganda so they believe it and hate Trump.

I've seen it first hand from my in laws. They grew up listening to NPR(now extremely liberal) and once they decided Trump was a bad guy they just feed themselves a constant stream of MSNBC which further reinforces their position. Crazy thing is they are devout Christians.

I'm sure that this scenario is not that uncommon.

Agreed, most older people had a decent media back 40+ years ago. Also nice to see the generation coming up that just became voting age is now flipping R.

Serious reply here: I wonder if the boomers are getting worried about SS and medicare cuts and think those would be safer under a Democrat?

Trump's podcast and YouTube appearances seemed to really help with the younger demographic.

There's some boomers in that 45-64 group. Anybody 60-64 is a boomer, on the tail end of the generation. I'm one of them and pulled the lever for a straight R ticket, including Trump at the top.

As a Generation X member this is so spot on. Typically takes us longer to get motivated to be active but once we do we tend to take the attitude of "clearly you all had your chance and can't get this fixed so we are taking over". We can be very understanding and willing to accept differences and take an approach of to each their own. But don't tell us how to think and at some point you cross a line. That line was crossed.

I theorize that more Boomers swinging hard left is a combination of their formative years occuring back when journalists were respected and them having lots of time to sit and soak in today's current MSM. It's simialr to the reason they are targeted by online scams.

I am the sibling of 6 other boomers. All 7 of us vote properly. All my non-sibling boomer friends, but for perhaps 1, voted properly.

Not sure where these numbers are coming from. Probably information collected by someone in one of the younger generations who can't do math.
