A couple more house seats called for the GOP. Still waiting on those three Pennsylvania seats to be called but it should be pretty soon.

There will be remarkably few flips this cycle despite the huge shift red across the country. The data analytics that went into redistricting all but assured we are going to only have about 20 to 30 competitive seats moving forward and even those are partially gerrymandered to favor one side or the other no matter what.

Infinitesimally small amount of true swing districts anymore.

Getting to 52 was crucial due to the flakiness of Collins and Murkowski. 53 means Vance won't have to break very many ties.

Lake is in better shape right now than people realize. Maricopa pulled some drop shenanigans and made it seem she was doing worse than she actually is.

NOTE: Not vote shenanigans. Just they dropped a usually high Dem skewing batch.

Arizona and Maricopa County in particular processes ballots in the order they receive them. So the election day vote is going to dump last and it's going to be highly red. This is one of those blue mirage states. Trump going to have to win big to pull Lake across but it is technically possible.

One note on Maricopa - they elected a new County Recorder (oversees election administration) there that was Trump backed.

He'll have a chance to clean that up for 2028.

Washoe county has been running 49-46 for the Dem. I'm guessing the assumption is that this next drop is going to heavily favor Rosen?

Edit: NVM, that 43,000 appears to be all mail, which should heavily favor Rosen.

Florida and North Dakota rejected recreational marijuana. North Dakota also rejected a ballot measure which would have allowed possession of up to three marijuana plants for home use.

Nebraska approved the medical marijuana ballot measure which allows possession of up to 5 oz for medicinal purposes. They established a medical marijuana commission to regulate the process.

I will let him clarify, but I admit that I haven't paid much attention to him lately. I was under the impression he was a never Trumper that planned to vote Libertarian instead, but I may have him confused with somebody else.
