To be fair, this year's Libertarian candidate wasn't a libertarian.

why does it feel like McCormick and Brown could lose the leads they've held since last night right as the last 1-2% of ballots are tallied, but Lake still has a chance to catch up and take a late lead?
Fing BS. I just looked at the Nevada map and I do not think Brown will pull it out, too many Clark county mail ballots and all other counties being reported at 95%, so very little out there for him

Also the genius of the US Taxpayers society party with 41k votes in Michigan to help elect a big gov dem. 3rd party voters make no sense to me.

Trump's lead in Nevada is 5%. It seems like a lot but that's only about 64,000 votes. With Brown trailing him by about 4% it's going to get very hairy in the next day or so for the senate seat.

If it turns out a bunch of non-postmarked ballots came in late it's going to be a mess.

Yep, looks like they will both likely lose. McCormick still has a shot but Brown looks like he's going to lose.

SO MUCH THIS

No more BS, the people have spoken, they want the new MAGA GOP not the Fing RINOs version

So no more of this John McCain thumbs down BS that we got last time. I can already see someone like Lindsey Graham Fing something up because Trump wants to end the wars, it is his money grab.

Get your asses in their and get to work, there are a lot of major policies that need to be passed

McCormick has a 32,000 vote lead with about 124,000 left to count per Fox News estimate.

If I can do math (no guarantee) Casey would have to win about 64%ish of the remaining vote to pull ahead.

Some of these ballots are overseas and military which can be counted well after election day.

After Harris' "concession" speech, CNN showed on a U.S. map how the overwhelming majority of U.S. counties voted Republican. The red all over the map confirmed that.

Then, the CNN pundits started explaining that this shows how the Democratic Party has not successfully connected with Americans who do not have a college education.

CNN and the Democrats continue to blame average Americans for not electing Harris and their rhetoric sounds like they are calling Republican voters racists and sexists. That diatribe is not effective for endearing moderates and non-straight-party voters to the Democratic Party as we saw yesterday.

Black female friend of mine posted this on FB. Clearly she is a closet white supremacist.

"I chose to vote for the person of my most interest. My son is an active serviceman in the US Army and has been stationed a 14hr drive from an active war in Ukraine for the past 8 months. Military families are ready to bring our family members home..US educated middle class families have busted our butts in our careers and are fully vested into our jobs want to live comfortable and are struggling. MAGA..NOW BRING OUR TROOPS home and keep that money over here!!!! This election was personal for me. TRUMP 2024!"

Per AP the GOP is sitting at 201 and I'm thinking their floor is 219, ceiling 224.

Trump's campaign strategy was to target young men who mostly interacted with politics through edgy bro podcasts and social media. In July, campaign manager Susie Wiles tasked a 27-year-old with spearheading Trump's podcast circuit: Alex Bruesewitz. (1/8)

After drawing up a list of shows for Trump to go on, Bruesewitz and senior adviser, Danielle Alvarez, called the former President one morning while he was on the golf course.

"I have a list of podcasts I wanted to pitch you on," Bruesewitz said. Trump stopped him there. (2/8)

"Have you talked this over with Barron?" he asked, referring to his 18-year-old son.

"No, sir," the young staffer told him.

"Call Barron and see what he thinks and let me know." (3/8)

After scrambling to contact Trump's youngest son, who Melania has shielded from the political fray, Bruesewitz got Barron's sign off. Their plan was to start with Adin Ross, a young provocateur mostly known for collabs with celebrities on live-streams of video games. (4/8)

The podcast strategy was set in motion. Like with all things Trump, he relied on trusted family to serve as an arbiter within his operation and guide his strategic decision-making. In this case, it was Barron. (5/8)

Over the next few months, Bruesewitz, coordinating with Barron, booked Trump on a marathon of frat-like podcast interviews with hosts who have massive young male audiences: Logan Paul, Theo Von, and Joe Rogan, who boasts the most popular podcast in America. (6/8)

There are some early signs the idea paid off. Preliminary exit polls show that Trump won over young white men by nearly 60%, while making inroads with Latino and Black men. He won 42% of voters age 18-29, per NBC. (7/8)

Obviously, Trump's win is due to more than podcasts. It will take years to fully understand the sweep of his success. But this was a core part of an unconventional campaign thesis to "max out the men and hold the women," as a Trump aide told me. (8/8)

Yep. 2016 he followed Obama's lead on social media. This time, podcasts.

I think this is what got enough enough young guys (and probably some women) to realize he isn't the devil incarnate. Anyone that listened to those podcasts could see he's a fairly normal guy that doesn't want the handsmaid tales or gay concentration camps, etc. it was a great strategy.
