Listened to the clip directly from her post and he calls her a war hawk and asks how she would like it to be thrown into war. Anyone with half a brain would understand that's what he said. Holy out of context.

9 is a number. Just a number. Would it be better at only 8, or 10?

Not to be a dick, but...you have a law degree!?
It's not that difficult and it's certainly no indicator of intelligence and clearly not one of integrity.

SheJack had a JD. Rep. Hank Johnson of "Guam is gonna capsize!" has one, and perhaps the dumbest of them all, Kamala Harris, has one.

"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. This is eye rolling levels of willful stupidity and feigned righteous indignation at a very obvious hypothetical proposition put forward by Trump about how politicians wouldn't be so eager to start wars if they had to face the same consequences as the soldiers they send to the battlefields. This sentiment has quite literally been raised for millennia of human political history, and often in very similar terms by great philosophers and statesmen.

The very painfully obvious extraction of all context from around a very narrow part of the statement to then concoct a contextual lie about it to completely change its meaning is so very Democrat.

Disingenuous bull**** quote. President Trump was calling out the complete lack of humanity in the war mongering Dick Cheney family. The Cheney family will enthusiastically endorse wars spilling someone else's blood knowing they won't be facing the guns and death.
Congratulations on carrying the water for a hateful, spiteful, dishonest and dishonorable war mongering family.

Why else did the Cheney's and Bolton and the rest jump ship? Because of principles?
Cheney voted with Trump's position with about 93% of the time, which was more than many other colleagues. She voted against the first impeachment. Why didn't she "jump ship" then?

It was only after the events of Jan 6 that she decided she'd seen enough and voted for the second impeachment. So basically, Trumpers are against her because she called him out on his BS election denialism, claim she's a "warmonger" because her father is Dick Cheney and basically demonize her because she had the political courage to do what she felt was right, unlike most of the other GOP who have grown spineless to criticize Dear Leader in the face of MAGA cultism.
She's become unhinged. There is no way any republican or conservative could possibly support Harris. If they do, they simply are not a republican or conservative. You can hate Trump all you want, and you can sit the election out or vote libertarian or do a write in, but you cannot vote for Harris, and you certainly can't publicly support her. If you do, you are supporting:

Amnesty and citizenship for millions of illegals
Continued importation of aliens in massive quantities, including criminals
Reparations for slavery
Gun restrictions
Increased taxation on corporations which will be passed down to consumers
DEI enforcement
Transgender promotion for children
Fewer prison sentences and low bale requirements
Tax money sent to selected liberal groups
Limits on Freedom of Speech
Use of IRS and justice system against Americans who are not politically aligned
An end to the two party system - one party rule from now on. Essentially an end to democracy.

No person who has not been brainwashed can support those things. Certainly not a conservative or any republican. Liz Cheney has mentally checked out.

It's so absurd the level of gaslighting. They've been incessantly using inflammatory dehumanizing rhetoric with the Hitler, Nazi. Dictator crapola, calling his supporters garbage and worse. And yet here they are feigning outrage over a comment taken entirely out of context and twisted to fit their view of Trump as a violent raging lunatic.

You are acting like Trump was talking about an execution firing squad. Your post was meant to trick people into thinking that.

Tricking someone in to believing a non-truth is a lie. It doesn't matter what words you use. It doesn't matter what the definition of "is" is.

This post is a lie meant to trick people, and you are a liar for posting it.
You are correct. That speaks volumes on the true character of posters willing to knowingly post these lies.

She jumped ship when she did because she's a politician. Trump was on the way out, democrats on the way in, so she maneuvered herself to be in the favor of those in charge. That simple. She's a politician that stands for nothing and to imply she made a stand with "courage" is laughable. It takes no courage to adopt the position that's blasted out as truth by 95% of the press and media.

Her voters rightfully threw her out. Her job was to represent them, not play politics. But Liz is good. She's a media darling now running the television circuit and given a platform on social media by the usual legacy media suspects.

Quote:

When asked about Liz Cheney campaigning for Harris, Trump said, "Well, I think it hurts Kamala a lot. Actually. Look, (Cheney is) a deranged person. The reason she doesn't like me is that she wanted to stay in Iraq."

Trump covered many other topics, then said: "I don't want to go to war. (Liz Cheney) wanted to go, she wanted to stay in Syria. I took (troops) out. She wanted to stay in Iraq. I took them out. I mean, if were up to her, we'd, we'd be in 50 different countries. And you know, number one, it's very dangerous. Number two, a lot of people get killed. And number three, I mean, it's very, very expensive."

Later, Trump added "I don't blame (Dick Cheney) for sticking with his daughter, but his daughter is a very dumb individual, very dumb. She is a radical war hawk. Let's put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK? Let's see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are trained on her face."

You see it's all about context. He is clearly saying if it was her on the other end of a gun barrel, she might not be so willing to send troops to war so she and her family can profit.

It is not the quote. This statement is a lie. Trump suggested that Liz should have a rifle and face an enemy with nine rifles. Then she might reconsider wanting to sent our troops unnecessarily into war zones to solve every international problem.

Unfortunately, her father and her make too much money selling weapons to stop that insanity.

What is insane is leftists who want to say everything that Trump says is wrong to the point where when he says something about which a traditional leftist would agree they become total hypocrites.

It's good to see that our resident leftists want to support the military industrial complex and their unending wars. They suddenly agree with ultra right wing Republicans.

When it goes beyond merely trying to manipulate ignorant rubes through deception and spin for selfish political gain, and the progressive leftist leadership and intellectual class seems to begin to genuinely believe their own propaganda almost as quickly as they manufacture it and they seem to manufacture it almost instantly and instinctively, we have a serious problem on our hands.

An entire class of powerful and.connected people in authority has become detached from reality and are operating in a collective state of neurotic self delusion. That cannot be good for social stability.

Quote:

I need to make a statement.

This morning on CNN I referred to Trump's "rifles" quote as him advocating a "firing squad" for Liz Cheney. I was reacting in haste to what were objectively appalling and irresponsible comments that had been framed in the set-up piece in the context of previous statements Trump made about shooting protestors and having generals "executed." Still, I was wrong to say he was calling for a firing squad execution. After I said that, my co-panelist, Brad Todd made the case that I was wrong. Brad was right and, again, I was wrong. Trump was making albeit in his customary fashion a different argument about Cheney's alleged foreign policy views and the use of force. I let my disgust at Trump's comments get the better of me as this was the first time I'd heard them.

In fact, at the end of the program, having thought about it, I said as much (though I could have been clearer). A fact that has been left out in a lot of the criticism of me since this morning. In other words, I voluntarily conceded the point, unprompted, before any of this subsequent criticism came my way. (You can find it around the 2:20 mark in the video below).

I regret the initial comment because it was inaccurate and contributed to the kind of overheated environment Trump thrives on.

Trump's words were bad enough.

But it's worth noting that a lot of the criticism about my inaccuracy is itself somewhat inaccurate, or at least incomplete, given my correction.

Trump broke Jonah.

Great, four more years of, "here's what he really meant to say....." Trump needs a translator to interpret "the weave" a/k/a dementia.

Trump is one or more of these:

2) crazy
3) has dementia

Coulda had DeSantis. I voted Libertarian. Can't vote for either bozo on the ticket. I don't want to hear cackles or "the weave."

At this point, you are being purposefully obtuse. Did you even listen to the clip? Paraphrased:

She's dumb. She's a huge war hawk. Let's see how she handles getting shot at.

How in the world does that mean Trump wants to execute her. Why would he say she's a war hawk just before the gun statement.

Anyone who really believes he was talking about an execution suffers from one of the worst cases of confirmation bias ever.
