Listened to the clip directly from her post and he calls her a war hawk and asks how she would like it to be thrown into war. Anyone with half a brain would understand that's what he said. Holy out of context.
It's not that difficult and it's certainly no indicator of intelligence and clearly not one of integrity.BigRobSA said:GeorgiAg said:

9 is a number. Just a number. Would it be better at only 8, or 10?
Not to be a dick, but...you have a law degree!?
Disingenuous bull**** quote. President Trump was calling out the complete lack of humanity in the war mongering Dick Cheney family. The Cheney family will enthusiastically endorse wars spilling someone else's blood knowing they won't be facing the guns and death.BigFred said:

Trump says the most bizarre, un-hinged, unsafe things ever spoken as a political candidate, (forget presidential candidate)
She's become unhinged. There is no way any republican or conservative could possibly support Harris. If they do, they simply are not a republican or conservative. You can hate Trump all you want, and you can sit the election out or vote libertarian or do a write in, but you cannot vote for Harris, and you certainly can't publicly support her. If you do, you are supporting:The Kraken said:Cheney voted with Trump's position with about 93% of the time, which was more than many other colleagues. She voted against the first impeachment. Why else did the Cheney's and Bolton and the rest jump ship? Because of principles?
It was only after the events of Jan 6 that she decided she'd seen enough and voted for the second impeachment. So basically, Trumpers are against her because she called him out on his BS election denialism, claim she's a "warmonger" because her father is Dick Cheney and basically demonize her because she had the political courage to do what she felt was right, unlike most of the other GOP who have grown spineless to criticize Dear Leader in the face of MAGA cultism.

You see, this is the difference between the left and the right when it comes to the media.
You are acting like Trump was talking about an execution firing squad. Your post was meant to trick people into thinking that.
Tricking someone in to believing a non-truth is a lie. It doesn't matter what words you use. It doesn't matter what the definition of "is" is.
This post is a lie meant to trick people, and you are a liar for posting it.
No, and it was taken out of context. Go back and listen to the entire conversation and then ask yourself if you should ever believe anything the MSM tells you.redcrayon said:Is this a quote?BigFred said:

That makes no sense. She lost her seat because of it. The easy way would have been to go with the crowd along with the majority of the GOP.BenFiasco14 said:The Kraken said:Cheney voted with Trump's position with about 93% of the time, which was more than many other colleagues. She jumped ship when she did because she's a politician. Trump was on the way out, democrats on the way in, so she maneuvered herself to be in the favor of those in charge. That simple. She's a politician that stands for nothing and to imply she made a stand with "courage" is laughable. It takes no courage to adopt the position that's blasted out as truth by 95% of the press and media.
Her voters rightfully threw her out. Her job was to represent them, not play politics. But Liz is good. She's a media darling now running the television circuit and given a platform on social media by the usual legacy media suspects.
Quote:
When asked about Liz Cheney campaigning for Harris, Trump said, "Well, I think it hurts Kamala a lot. Actually. Look, (Cheney is) a deranged person. The reason she doesn't like me is that she wanted to stay in Iraq."
Trump covered many other topics, then said: "I don't want to go to war. (Liz Cheney) wanted to go, she wanted to stay in Syria. I took (troops) out. She wanted to stay in Iraq. I took them out. I mean, if were up to her, we'd, we'd be in 50 different countries. And you know, number one, it's very dangerous. Number two, a lot of people get killed. And number three, I mean, it's very, very expensive."
Later, Trump added "I don't blame (Dick Cheney) for sticking with his daughter, but his daughter is a very dumb individual, very dumb. She is a radical war hawk. Let's put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK? Let's see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are trained on her face."

I need to make a statement.
This morning on CNN I referred to Trump's "rifles" quote as him advocating a "firing squad" for Liz Cheney. I was reacting in haste to what were objectively appalling and irresponsible comments that had been framed in the set-up piece in the context of previous statements Trump made about shooting protestors and having generals "executed." Still, I was wrong to say he was calling for a firing squad execution. After I said that, my co-panelist, Brad Todd made the case that I was wrong. Brad was right and, again, I was wrong. Trump was making albeit in his customary fashion a different argument about Cheney's alleged foreign policy views and the use of force. I let my disgust at Trump's comments get the better of me as this was the first time I'd heard them.
In fact, at the end of the program, having thought about it, I said as much (though I could have been clearer). A fact that has been left out in a lot of the criticism of me since this morning. In other words, I voluntarily conceded the point, unprompted, before any of this subsequent criticism came my way. (You can find it around the 2:20 mark in the video below).
I regret the initial comment because it was inaccurate and contributed to the kind of overheated environment Trump thrives on.
Trump's words were bad enough.
But it's worth noting that a lot of the criticism about my inaccuracy is itself somewhat inaccurate, or at least incomplete, given my correction.

Hypocrites ? Here ? The place where they hate liars, cheaters and the unpatriotic. Then explain away each time Trump does any of the above? I haven't noticed anything like that.

Great, four more years of, "here's what he really meant to say....." Trump needs a translator to interpret "the weave" a/k/a dementia.
Trump is one or more of these:
1) dumb
2) crazy
3) has dementia
4) a closet (not so closeted, he said it directly) wanna be dictator who will seek retribution against his perceived enemies.
Coulda had DeSantis. I voted Libertarian. Can't vote for either bozo on the ticket. I don't want to hear cackles or "the weave."
