I have a big a$$ sign in my 90% blue neighborhood.

The sign isn't to change minds.
Its to remind the sane folks, that they are not alone.

Last election season, I had the dad of an iraq war veteran (committed suicide, after PTSD) thank me for putting up my sign. He couldn't put one up, because he worked for the city, and was certain the neighbors would report his company. (I have no doubt they would)

This year, we've had thank you notes being dropped off.
Its absolutely nuts hat folks are afraid to put up signs. We are the last free country on earth, but not by much.

Not to derail, but I had a conversation with a Dem the other day wherein I mentioned not all Trump supporters are crazy. I said most Trump supporters have rational, intelligent, and reasonable reasons for supporting him, even if we disagree with their choice or decision-making process. She was horrified by my having the audacity to defend Trump supporters.

I miss the days when each side wasn't demonizing the other. Probably the reason I liked Reagan so much.

I had some amazing political conversations while I was recently in Italy. Mostly with expats but some euros from different countries. Amazing how most of them view what's going on here. Had a drunk liberal originally from Michigan say she didn't want that title liberal anymore as the democrats are now for censorship and that is a hill she will die on. Pretty sure Jill stein with get her vote.

As for me, I'm not for the republicans or Trump, I'm for a strong nation of laws that protect an individual's god given rights (no matter the individual) which means I've been an anti-democrat my entire life. The Dems were and still are the party of group over individual rights.
