The "news" business features a lot of people with frail intellect and they have learned from their national counterparts that they can enjoy an air of superiority by making moralistic judgments and pretending there is news in it.

Anyone see Rusty's tweets on Kamala's husband knocking up his family nanny or slapping around his girlfriend or Kamala telling Christians they didn't belong at her rally? I must have missed those.

Exactly. The problem is that he's reporting as if the "insults" were made in a political speech without mentioning that the comments were made in the context of a standup comedy act. That's misleading and disingenuous. That's why people no longer trust the media. And KBTX now falls into the fake news category. He's damaged the KBTX brand and reputation.

There are tons of comedians I don't care for, in fact I would guess probably most. It's usually easy enough for me to avoid them, and I choose to do so.

But that's not remotely the issue here. Rusty went out of his way to use his platform to provide partial context and push a false narrative on something he doesn't typically cover. And then he doubles down with "just the facts ma'am" attitude when folks called him on it.
