Arlington votes split by Cooper St is the most obvious thing ever.

Frisco is the best proof of the Asian influence to blue in Collin County. West of the tollway tends to still be more white and affluent than east and is still red. East of the tollway is more heavily Asian and blue. Plano is basically covered all over as the Asian growth started there.

In my town itself, 71% Trump. Once you get out of the city limits it ran 80% to 91% Trump. The only place that went for biden, where 65% went for him, was a small, unincorporated place that is at least 98% black.

In terms of counties, the most Republican county in the country has been Ochiltree County for a while. That's where Perryton is located.

I think my county was number 2 or 3 most Republican in the country.

Note that the numbers are not necessarily 100% accurate. I don't know about other locations, but in my county, those who take advantage of early voting are recorded in a different precinct that only includes early voting and mail-in voting.

Thus, my precinct is shown as voting 100% for Trump on election day, but I voted for Jo Jorgensen in early voting.

^Is this you?

Your party's governance on criminal justice, immigration, and fiscal policy has destroyed this country.

You should apologize to Jocelyn Nungaray, Linda Frickey, Rosalie Cook, Nelson Beckett, Jacob Trevino, Daniel Abdelmalak, and countless others.

Tomorrow is Kamalas birthday. Would be hilarious if her campaign cursed her like Hillary's did.

How do they have this information? I thought voting records were private?
Huh? They are not very private at all.

Also, the Secretary of State's office has details down to the precinct level on-line for a number of past general elections, local elections, and primaries.

Candidates will often request the information and arrange the data so that their volunteers can walk the neighborhoods and know precisely which houses to visit based on who has voted in past elections and which primaries they voted in.

Some people can shield their addresses including federal and state judges, police, ... . Also, people who have been the victim of certain crimes can have their addresses protected, too.

This is a great map for showing you areas where you might want to move to/from to be FAR away from Democrats/Communists.

I went from a Biden +35 precinct in Minnesota to a Trump +50 district in Baldwin County, AL near Pensacola, FL/Orange Beach, AL

In our polarized political climate a lot of people use these maps if they are relocating to a new state and want to live in a place that is run by the political party of their choice.

You can find a middle class, upper middle class or affluent area that leans left or right in any major city.

A few years ago I went to a Woodrow Wilson vs Highland Park football game....and to be honest you couldn't tell the difference between the two schools.....at least not at the very top of the social chain.

Much easier for a kid to hit the top 10% at WWHS than Highland Park because most DISD schools are at least 30% disadvantage kids.

Lakewood is full of affluent Democrats.
Highland Park is mostly Republican.

The asia influence is driving Plano and Frisco blue. Tons of Indians and Chinese and they love their overlords. That NE migration happened 40 years ago. It's the more recent 20-30 migration of asians that has really shifted it
All those engineers and tech folks that have relocated to Texas have moved to Coppell, Plano and Frisco.

I have a friend that runs an SAT tutoring service based in Plano, Richardson, Far North Dallas...etc and most of her clients are Asian students whose parents will consider them a failure if they don't get admitted to Rice, Stanford or an Ivy League School.

Looking at the change map, in 2020 Trump lost a ton of ground in Texas in suburbia and gained a lot in the border areas and remarkably in west Houston.

Since this election over 87 percent of all homicides in the United States have occurred in precincts that voted majority Democrat in 2020.

This is with many Democrat jurisdictions refusing to report their homicide data to the federal government.

In reality, well over 90 percent of all homicides in the United States since the 2020 election have occurred in precincts that voted majority Democrat/Biden/Kamala in 2020.

Sure but those areas that lean right in major cities are an oasis and there are always going to be far more terrible schools than good ones in a major city. WWHS is about the only DISD high school that any parent who actually cared about their kid and had the means to make a choice might consider sending their kid to. I know that school pretty well because we lived about 500 yards from it for 8 years. It has/had a highly engaged white populace which is why it's always been a notch above your typical DISD school.

You are still rolling the dice much more so selecting a perceived good school in an urban area vs an area geographically buffered from the left. Also, Highland Park is its own town that is separate from Dallas. It is truly an oasis inside of Dallas.

To address another post, the fact is crime matters and is handled differently depending on if you are run by conservatives vs democrats. Unfortunately, the latter run almost every large city in America and you get to see the results first hand. See any number of Soros DA's who implemented policy not to prosecute crime.

We all owe Governor Abbott and Governor Perry a large bit of gratitude for helping make Texas into what is now becoming Americas greatest playground for corporate growth.

The Texas Stock Exchange will be located in Downtown Dallas. People that live in Dallas, Houston and Austin need to be prepared for a massive amount of corporate relocations over the next 10-15 years.

One of the upsides of all this growth will be an improvement of local eateries and restaurants.
For example; Bojangles are starting to make appearances in the Dallas area. This is just like when In and Out Burger invaded Texas about 10 years ago.

The downside if you are a Republican....... is that the more companies that relocate to Plano and Frisco....the quicker Collin County will eventually turn Blue.
It was just announced that another company from San Francisco relocated to the Dallas area.

Quote:

PLANO, Texas A global tech company is joining the ranks of companies moving headquarters from California to Texas.

Simplilearn, which provides training for digital skills, has moved to a building in Plano near the Dallas North Tollway and 121
. The relocation comes after the company's founder CEO Krishna Kumar moved to Texas several quarters ago, the company said.

"Our move to Texas marks a pivotal moment in our journey, driven by our commitment to being at the forefront of a thriving tech ecosystem and tapping into a diverse talent pool," Kumar said. "Establishing our headquarters here positions us to better empower professionals with the skills needed to excel in a digital-first world. We are excited to engage with this vibrant community and contribute to the growth of the digital economy across the U.S. and around the world."

Simplilearn, which is now based in Plano and Bangalore, India, is part of investment firm Blackstone's portfolio after Blackstone acquired a controlling stake in the company in 2021.
Simplilearn's new headquarters are at 5851 Legacy Circle on the sixth floor in Plano. It was previously headquartered in San Francisco.

Fascinating tool here by the reviled New York Times. Many people can use this tool if they want to know the political leanings of a suburb or neighborhood.

The 2020 Election wasn't the traditional red vs blue state. It was truly the country and the Exurbs vs the City and the Suburbs.

The City and the Suburbs won in 2020. We will see what happens in 3 weeks.

I'm only going to focus on Texas:

Most Conservative cities in Texas:
Amarillo, Midland, Odessa, Tyler

Dallas-Ft Worth:
Rockwall and North East Tarrant County cities like Keller, Southlake and Colleyville are going to be the areas with the strongest support of Trump.
Trump has lots of support in Roanoke and Flower Mound.
Biden had tons of votes in Denton.

In Dallas County the most heavily republican part of the city are the Park Cities, parts of Lake Highlands and Preston Hollow.

Far North Dallas, Uptown, Kessler Park and Lakewood are the affluent communities in Dallas that tend to lean left.
There is a bright red spot in Oak Cliff that happens to be where Dallas Baptist is located.

Arlington, Irving, Richardson, Lewisville, Carrollton, Garland, and (very surprisingly) Plano, Allen and a lot of Frisco had a ton of people who voted for Joe Biden over Trump.

The amount of blue neighborhoods in Frisco, Little Elm, Allen and Plano was pretty surprising to me.
Coppell is about 50/50 between people that voted for Trump or Biden.

Austin:
Westlake Hills voted 2:1 for Biden over Trump.
Georgetown, Leander and Dripping Springs are going to be your most conservative pockets of the Austin metro area.

Bryan/College Station:
The City of Bryan voted for Biden. College Station is mostly red except for the campus of Texas A&M.
Might there be a future Collin Alredd going to school right now at A&M?

I must admit that I was quite surprised at the political leanings of the A&M campus.

Houston:
The Woodlands, Kingwood, Tomball, Friendswood, Northwest Harris County, River Oaks and Tanglewood are going to be your most heavily Republican areas. Sugar Land looks about 50/50 between Democrats and Republicans.

Everywhere else in Houston voted for Biden over Trump.
The affluent areas of H-Town that tend to lean left include West University Place, Bellaire and Montrose.
Lots of professors, researchers and doctors live in the high end neighborhoods near the Texas Medical Center.

Joe Biden got 91% of the Rice University vote compared to 8% for Trump.
I'm very surprised about Allen. But, not at all about Plano. I know a lot of Plano Republicans from church. They are all from the old Bush Sr., John McCain, Mitt Romney wing of Republican party. All voted Biden in 20 and all are voting Harris in 24. They don't like the direction the GOP has taken.

I thought I had clicked on the crime map. If violent crime is blue, it would largely look the same anyway.
