WSJ article about Transfer Energy's Kelce Warren sueing Greenpeace USA for their illegal actions trying to prevent oil pipelines. Per the article, Energy Transfer alleges Greenpeace incited activists, funded attacks to damage a pipeline, and spread misinformation about the company and the project.
The trial is set for February in a North Dakota State court. They are seeking $300M in damages That amount would wipe out Greenpeace USA.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Protest all you want, but don't break the law!

"We support the right of all Americans to lawfully protest and express their opinions" an Energy Transfer spokeswoman said. "However, when is not done in accordance with our laws, we have a legal system to deal with that."
