I saw (on YouTube, a guy listening to the scanner and doing a show) the police recovered what they believe to be his cell phone, with the battery removed.

Kentucky State Police have taken over as lead agency in the search from the Laurel County Sheriff's Office.

Also, Couch's military experience is 4 years in the National Guard so he isn't some kind of spec ops guy.

5 injured, but none serious and no deaths. Twelve vehicles where hit. The police estimate 20-30 rounds were fired so basically one magazine.

Several injuries were from the vehicles crashing after the gunfire, but none serious either.

Also, to answer an earlier question in the thread, the charges of third-degree terroristic threatening were dismissed.

There you go, dude is probably stocked up with food and water for 5 years in an abandoned coal mine ….. they will prob stop looking for him before they find him. Something tells me he left his car their because he had another way to get out of dodge that no one knows about
