My T level is 800

today i learned that a guy that rolls around with other guys shirtless and in short shorts had to have his Testosterone checked
About as funny as a bunch of guys posting on a board that was started as a way for men to come whine about a sport where the traditional way of initiating action is to have a guy stand behind a bent over man, put his hands between bent over man's legs with the top of his hand pressed against his balls and ass. And then watch them slap each other's asses when a play works.
Preach it from the mountaintop, brother.Quote:
Getting older has had advantages. Too much makes you aggressive, continually awed and distracted by the female form and prone to making some poor decisions when you know better.

So you are comparing football and a message board to an activity wear you practice finishing moves on men and as you finish them quicker you get a different colour of the rainbow belt to wear
The exact reason I will not take any meds for cholesterol. Check out a book called The Great Cholesterol Myth.Trajan88 said:
I have been on cholesterol (statin) meds for years.
I noticed not long after getting on a regimen my upper body strength disappeared.
Although I had no issues with running endurance.
Thanks for the tip. Looks like they put out a revised and expanded edition in 2020.cypress-ag said:The exact reason I will not take any meds for cholesterol. Check out a book called The Great Cholesterol Myth.Trajan88 said:

Eat red meat, and make sure to lift lower body. Problem solved and you won't have to give blood all the time
Twice a year?
For many people testosterone causing blood thickening and they have to give blood frequently to avoid risk of stroke

lol, 400 is normal male.
Unfortunately this is an epidemic even among men who constantly workout and eat well. I know multiple people, including myself, who tested in the 200s. All of us lifted weights 3-5 days a week and we were all jacked and were former jocks who had been great at sports.
All 3 of us had the classic symptoms: lethargy, no motivation, and the beginnings of random weight gain.
It's a big problem nowadays, far more than it used to be. I can't imagine how it must be for men who never lift weights. I felt miserable before I started trt.
Serious question. Not meant to derail or insult. How is your diet? I ask because this was my experience. And I'm 6'1", 192, and a BJJ black belt that works out a minimum of five days a week.
Went to one of those low T clinics and narrowly failed the first test. Went back for the second one two weeks later (since you have to fail two to get prescribed) and had just got done rolling and eating lunch. The guy walks in all pissed off and goes "What did you do?" I asked what he meant and long story short, my working out and eating a good meal before being blood tested raised my testosterone to the point of passing. He said I'll have to come back and retest and don't do that again before the test. When I said "Well, if my testosterone is naturally high due to working out and eating healthy why wouldn't I just do that?" The appointment went ice cold after that and I haven't been back since.
I literally said my diet was good. The other guys I know had better diets than me and one was obsessive over it.
I don't understand why some of you don't want to admit we are exposed to a massive amount of endocrine disrupters everywhere nowadays. It's not just the processed foods, it's literally everything in modern society.

If natural and above 25, that is very solid.

I'm calling it. The left is going to start pushing hard for TRT bans over the next decade or so (but not for transies obvi). They'd be dumb not to, given that they are evil diabolical tyrants with no moral compass.
If that were to happen, it would be crazy to imagine millions of dudes experiencing crippling testosterone crashes simultaneously.
My understanding is that when you go off it (with no cycle protocol), you crash down to a very low level. If you had level of 400 before TRT, you might go down to 100 then hope to God you recover somehow to your pre TRT levels.

Don't want to derail the thread but I read that book. They claim cholesterol doesn't cause heart attacks. That may be true but statins like Crestor also help prevent inflammation of the arteries and plaque in the arteries which does cause heart attack & stroke.
Heart disease doesn't discriminate who it affects. My uncle who ate healthy, didn't drink, didn't smoke, was big into exercise died of heart disease. Had he been on a statin like Crestor might of saved his life.
