Ponder was very vocal about not letting men participate in women's sports, and she was supportive of Harrison Butker giving his speech (but didn't necessarily agree with 100% of his comments). Even if it was due to 'budget cuts', I'm guessing her views played a role in what happened.

Haven't really watched that much of Ponder, but it is understandable if it is a budget cut. Given that she was in the last year of the contract, I think something else might be at play here.


I have enjoyed most of RGIIIs antics, and will never forget his black friday comment. I would pay to listen to him and Johnny do a broadcast together on a game. One minute they are discussing RPO's and the next it is running trains on cocaine.

I liked him because he said those things, which more often than not, were pushing the envelope. Seems he knew he had lifetime money and this job was for fun, so he brought that to it vs many others who are just the same talking head in a different suit.
