Trump should be doing these types of conversations with GWB, Romney, Kemp, and DeSantis instead. Those are the people whose support can actually help Trump win this election. Elon is not a real Republican and was a Democrat just a few months ago. No voter in a swing state will care that Elon likes Trump. Ronald Reagan, The Great Communicator, would sound like he was talking to fifth graders. It was somewhat obnoxious to me, but perhaps that is the level that a politician has to take in order to communicate with the majority of Americans.
