That's why "sinking it" is not such a good idea. On the other hand, that island is nothing more than a rock covered in useless oil export equipment if you take out the supply to it - pipelines, pumping stations, etc. It sends the message that it could be a lot worse without setting them back years and punishing our allies.

On his recent US visit. Escalation by the iranians and proxies from here only works in his favor imo. The one thing I do believe is that anything that results in major Iranian civilian deaths probably is not wise. I don't see any reason to believe it would tho as the precision attacks have already been shown to be effective .
