NE PA Ag,

Your solution may help for the very highest of profile World and Olympic level sporting bodies, but I can assure you that there is no way that we can flip a switch and require all woman's competitions worldwide to suddenly get a genetics test to compete. You interested in taking your daughter in for the blood draw for middle school basketball?

Even those World governing bodies dont have the ability to test every single competition under their banners down to the lowest levels under them.

The IBA and IBF will not let these two box women:
Quote:

The International Boxing Association (IBA) issued a statement on Wednesday about the disqualification of Khelif and Yu-ting from the 2023 women's championship.

"This disqualification was a result of their failure to meet the eligibility criteria for participating in the women's competition, as set and laid out in the IBA Regulations," reads the statement. "Point to note, the athletes did not undergo a testosterone examination but were subject to a separate and recognized test, whereby the specifics remain confidential. This test conclusively indicated that both athletes did not meet the required necessary eligibility criteria and were found to have competitive advantages over other female competitors."

The statement mentioned that Yu-ting did not appeal the IBA's decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and Khelif appealed the IBA's decision but then withdrew. According to minutes from an IBA meeting in 2023, similar laboratory testing and results for Khelif and Yu-ting were recorded in 2022, although the results were received after the championship and therefore they were not disqualified.

Finding this out, particularly at the Olympic level, is not difficult.

How about instead we just tell them "no." Far simpler solution. Or make them fight with the men. Leave the choice to them.

Society is not best served having to cater to every ultraminority on earth and denying participation in sports among those who you are biologically build differently from is not some sort of human rights violation, no matter how many blue haired fat cat lady losers say it is.

Quite the reach there..... This person was born with a defect that gives them an unfair advantage. It really isn't that hard to see if you just use some common sense. They have XY chromosomes. It shouldn't be allowed to compete against normal women.

This. Im not saying they should be allowed to fight females, but this is a much harder issue.

So they are a hermaphrodite?

That is different. I understood this to be a person who transitioned. Yes I agree they still probably shouldn't be fighting women but this is a grayer area for sure.

You said it, doc, not me.

But you don't exactly have to be a genius to figure out what is going on here.

There is a large percentage of the population that had never been told 'no'. And you can tell by their reaction to not getting exactly what they want at that moment.

The power of 'no' cannot be understated...from both the deliverer of the message to the recipient.

It's a command from a father, to his daughter, to not touch a hot stove.

It's a command from a mother, telling a teen, that smoking cigarettes is bad for your health.

The lack of NO is what you see today...

P.s. bullying in early childhood, while sometimes brutal was a definitive 'no' and shaped viewpoints how you would expect.

What we are experiencing now is a 2 decade lack thereof, in my opinion anyway

It's not difficult at all. They have a clear biological advantage over the other female athletes and should not be competing. Those male hormones that they have make them bigger and stronger than females and they are successful because they have those hormones.

It sucks for them that they can't box against men because they would get destroyed there as well but that's life.

It is utterly insane that this has been established at this point and yet so many people are STILL saying Khelif is a man. Muh narrative! Muh outrage!

Like, there's no excuse to spread this misinformation at this point. She is a woman with elevated levels of testosterone. That's the issue people should be focusing on. But people like Elon musk and Riley Gaines are so ****ing deranged about trans people that they are obsessing over her being "trans."

It's why I said elevated testosterone. She is intersex. That is what that condition is. But she is a woman. She was NOT born male. but clearly her condition was an issue, given that she's been DQd from past competitions.

But you and many others are still running with the lie that she is a man.

Did I call her a man?

I said she should not be allowed to compete in women's competitions, regardless of what she or you identify her as

Y chromosome, no girl's sports

The man/woman identification is irrelevant here. Anybody can call her whatever they want, rightly or wrongly. Khelif should not be allowed to beat up girls in sanctioned competition. You disagree. You think someone with genetically male chromosomes should be allowed to beat up girls in the ring. Way to go

We are calling it a defect, i.e. imperfect or faulty? Nice.

How are we demarcating our genetic discrimination in sports?

For instance, if a man or woman have gigantism, should they be banned from the Olympics?

Will genetic discrimination be limited to women sports? I don't think so.

We have CRISPR so the question of genetic discrimination is one will will have to address for natural and unnatural circumstances.

People who have gigantism usually don't compete in sports for their own safety.

This person shouldn't be competing in women's sports, particularly women's combat sports, for everyone else's safety. This isn't a good argument you are making. It sounds like you are just repeating talking points to defend a woman getting beat up by someone who should never have been in the ring with her.

Eventually the stupid has to stop. Eventually society has to say NO to the idiocy being foisted upon us by the real weird folks and their dumb 'demands'. You can be weird but don't expect me or us to affirm it. Or conform to it. There will be a turning point someday. This Olympic opening/boxing dumbassery is pushing the journey down the road a bit.

There really are a few folks that need to be voted off the island.
