Agreed, just with their recent stance of withholding weapons from Israel and siding with Hamas/Hezbollah over Israel. Also shows the difference in the terrorist hitting civilian targets versus Israel hitting military based. There may be collateral but in Israel's thought process they don't have a zero sum belief like the USA has adopted lately.

Hezbollah is said to be 40-50k strong and gets a large portion of its funding and weapons from Iran. Places like Beirut are no Gaza either, they have over 2 million residents. Israel will need a lot more American weapons if they want to do a full offensive into Lebanon

I do believe they have lost some and will lose more over this but I also believe a substantial number (half?) of the US Jews are secular and don't care that much about Israel.

Your point about jewish donations is reasonable but I suspect a lot of the ones that give big $ fall in the category of don't care that much about Israel.

Last election it would have mattered. The vast majority still swing for democrats, period. That number could be getting smaller, but it they fall in "I don't care about my
Mother Land", then they are huge hypocrites. My kids went to a Jewish school for 5 years…..

That makes little to no sense. You can't care about something and like the PM. Makes no sense. I would surmise they don't care about either. I know plenty that have a had a change of heart considering all that they have endured over the years only to see Democrats crap on them until they need their vote.

They really dont care. Most of them do not have any connection to the country. They dislike Netanyahu's politics. They are a very powerful voice in the Dem party (though it is withering away as the Muslim/arab strength in the party gobbles up their strength) and they want it to stay that way. So they are, at best, higholy conflicted.

When you say most, what do you mean? I know many that haven't cared for the policies over the "peaceful" years but have now changed. My 3 boys went to the Katy JCC and I can tell you what you said is totally wrong. Many are at best second generation and speak Hebrew openly although they have lived here most of their adult life. Houston has a big Jewish population.
