If this is true, this is YUGE

Despite what some think here, RFKJr was pulling a lot of votes from Trump. Makes no sense policy wise, but it is what it is.

In some states, just a few thousand votes will be the difference!

I'm mixed on this. Happy if he is dropping out that he would throw support behind Trump, and concerned in that I think he would have pulled more votes from Harris than Trump in the end.

Having the Kennedy name supporting Trump would be such a slap in the face to the Democrats.

I think more than a few Democrats are in the same boat. Even for Democrats, Harris is so far left and so unlikable, they would rather have Trump for four years and hope a legitimate Democrat runs in 2028 than to have to face the prospect of eight years of cackling Kamala.

the regime wouldn't let him run, wouldn't provide him SS protection despite his dad and uncle being assassinated, and basically kicked him out of the party despite him aligning across the board with democrat policy from pre-2008. He would have every right to be fully against the current regime and be a serious person about it.

RFK was drawing more support from non-Trump voters than from Trump voters

go back and look at our "Muh Polls" thread and you can see the Trump lead INCREASES when including RFK.

so much stupidity if this is the Trump plan- he should keep RFK in just to siphon off the Trump haters

Kennedy dropping out won't help Trump much. He was taking votes from the left, not the right. He was more of a protest candidate for people that don't like Biden/Harris.

This. We do not want him dropping out. It just makes things more uncertain for Trump.

Arizona and Nevada are delivered to Trump with RFK on the ticket, he makes a Trump Victory go from around 3pts to 6 every time in polls in those states.

I hope he stays in and runs a better campaign

Same in Michigan. He is doing pretty well with young voters there and pulling them away from the D candidate. Whether that holds on election day, who knows. But, I think it is better for him to be in the race. I don't see the people voting for him going for Trump even if he endorsed him.
