They could easily filter out the crazy content but they refuse. Instead they keep marketing it. My final straw was when I got the email for "He's having a baby"

Things you will have to give up if you refuse to use any product produced by a company led by or largely comprised of people who vote or lean towards Dem:
- Movies
- Disney World
- Most sports outside of NASCAR
- Microsoft Window & Office
- Apple products including your iPhone
Good luck!
Look folks, you may disagree with Democratic Party policies but the USA is a huge diverse country where lots of people who vote from either side contribute to everyone's standard of living in important ways.
Trying to 'cancel culture' approximately half the country is ridiculous and frankly a hopeless objective.
Because we live in a corporatocracy. Under dem rule, the top 10% get richer and bottom 10% fully supported by government at the expense of the middle class. This isn't the pre 2000's political arena. Dems are the party of the fringes. Republicans not much better. Trump is firmly middle class first in his policies.ts5641 said:
Damn it! I love Netflix. Why do they all have to be a-hole lefties?!
Well this is a pretty weak perspective for a streaming entertainment service. People cancelling their subscription to Netflix doesn't create any more content for you. Make your choices, good on you. Laughing at "y'all" who make different choices just seems a bit much to me personallyDanimal said:
Always makes me laugh when yall cancel great products. More for the rest of us. Have you looked up the political leanings of all your commodities? Utilities, groceries, etc... or just the ones you can live without?

Instead of cancelling, why not actually get off your ass and get involved in the process. I guess cancelling is less disruptive to your precious life.

How doe someone cancelling Netflix give you "more" Netflix?Danimal said:

Netflix is a zero-sum game. They can't add a new subscription unless one subscription leaves.Im Gipper said:I am jealous of how you have more Netflix because this lady cancelled her subscription.Danimal said:

I think a more effective practice is actually getting out there and being involved in the process and trying to make changes that way. Too many do the easy thing because they don't want to interrupt their comfortable lifestyle.heavens11 said:Insert why not both meme here.Ghost of Andrew Eaton said:

People making purchasing decisions isn't active involvement in election which I think is your point. Not sure who is arguing that it is. I just have never understood why anyone gives a damn how other people spend their money. If a buyer doesn't want someone's product because the seller has different politics so be it.
typical left response that doesn't understand the definition of cancel culture - choosing where to spend your money isn't cancel culture. And you didn't disappoint with the expected responseDanimal said:Jeeper79 said:LOL ok. He's just one guy. Exactly. Cancel culture is just a way to feel important on the internet.

Dumbest thing I've ever read. So why do they have more than 1 subscriber? Because with that logic, they'd have to cancel so someone else could have that spot. There wouldn't be a second subscriber. Ever.
