Most tone deaf people are as they lack critical thinking skills.

When an agency's strongest feature is covering it's own incompetence, maybe it needs to go away.

Par for the course for the incompetent DEI worshippers to not recognize complaints on merit.

No one cares if women are in law enforcement. What people care about is a 5'6" agent that cannot holster a weapon on a last line of defense position in aprotective detail for someone that is 6'3".

The female agent could not holster the weapon safely after multiple tries.

In a high stress situation that is how ND's happen which can be a disaster. For Christ's sake she could have ND'd into Trump's leg or maybe another agent or a bystander.

This is so basic that it is past intelligent debate that training and hiring practices are obviously flawed.

It's telling how DHS responds to this criticism faster than they do to questions about the assasination attempt or controlling our southern border.

Just like most alphabet agencies in DC, this one needs to be purged.

That operation had poor planning all around. From the height of agents assigned to protect a 6'03" subject to assessing threats at the venue to coverage throughout the venue. Poor planning gave poor results.

Fine find me 6 foot 5 inch (or more) qualified women who can protect a 6 foot 3 inch man and I will shut up

I'll add... It's entirely possible this woman is an excellent agent, and fully deserving of employment by the USSS. She may be an incredible financial person. She might be a top Intel analyst. She might have a near photographic memory when piecing together complex investigations. She might excel in site scouting and pre-planning. Her long range shooting might make Chris Kyle look like a rank amateur (doubtful, but possible).

No one is saying she cannot do those things. But what she CANNOT do is protective detail for a 6'3" man.

I know there are a lot of badass professionals working for DHS. It is clear that not a one of them is in any meaningful leadership position.

Very few people are calling out "women being in the department". What most are being critical of is:
1) Cheatle's stated goal of having SS made up of 30% female. There should NEVER be a goal other than getting the most competent.. whether that ends up at 5% or 55% female doesn't matter.
2) the incompetence of the females (and males) on duty that day. The inability of female agent to holster her weapon is dangerous and sad. The overall leadership of Cheatle that day was incompetent.

Count me as someone not ashamed to say it. I don't need a woman to take a bullet in the frontline of a war or protecting a President to know they have equal value and worth to a man. In fact I consider them more valuable than men. They can do one thing a man can't do, that's pretty valuable to the world.

I'm starting to develop a mood watching these progressives tell me things perched up on their federal agencies that we pay for without much in return, like making sure a former president and current candidate for president don't get shot at and a fire fighter husband and dad doesn't die attending a political rally.

This is what is crazy about these Liberals. I guess they are mad that they don't get a participation trophy for completely sucking at the most basic and elementary parts of their job. They got a man killed and others injured and nearly killed and it could of easily been prevented, but all they are concerned with is optics. That Cheatle lady should just admit she's way out of her element and resign, people would have more respect for her. I guess it is no big surprise, the same party ran a senile old man for President who is way out of his element.
