Because Trump set up the whole thing, why would he want to expose himself like that?

See, I can conspiracy theory too!

The lack of press conference on what they or law enforcement are working on finding, on a daily basis, is absolutely egregious.

The nerve of these *******s.

And when they DO finally give a statement, they blame a ROOF. How, how, HOW does that get green-lighted?? I've got to assume that some team actually worked to come up with that, then it passed several layers of review by PR 'experts'. HOWWW???

What happened is so obviously messed up they cannot even come up with believable lies. They literally got nothing...

They should just be firing people right and left already. This is what happens when you try to protect incompetent people that suck at their job, or when you try to cover up something really obviously shady and bad.

Let me preface this by saying I'm not there (yet) as far as thinking this was more than a lone wolf scenario.

BUT - if it was an inside job, why don't the Republicans (or some other entity) offer $20 million, immunity from prosecution, and a new identity/life anywhere on the planet in exchange for info that brings this all down?

As with most inside jobs, seems to me there would have to be a tremendous number of people involved (with varying levels of knowledge of the entire plan).
Possibly, but keep in mind that the building he scaled and shot from was a staging center for local law enforecement (at least that's what I've heard). Just a little helpful info from 1-2 local LEO's who think Donald Trump is Hitler or a true threat to democracy could by VERY helpful with something like this. Was there a cop who was supposed to be standing outside to make sure no one approached or scaled the building who just didn't do his/her job?

I do not believe this is what happened, but it doesn't have to be a grand conspiracy at the federal level with 100 people in the know. Could be 1-2 warped people who think they are helping save the country.

Again, I do not think this is what happened, but the actual circumstances are so shocking, that my mind ponders potential conspiracy theories from time to time.

DEI on top of DEI on top of DEI might be what we are experiencing. This lady used to be a corporate exec and she is so in over hear head it is not even funny. She is not even remotely qualified for this job and her story keep changing.

The 'we were understaffed' angle got to be the most disingenuous position of all time.

We sending $10s of billions in furtherance of foreign wars every other week and just printed $8T in the past 4-years.

Spending billions on EV chargers, forgiving student loans and every conceivable expenditure but we short staffed in protecting the candidate that at least 50%+ of America supports.

At the end of the day, and at a minimum we just saw Biden turn the A/C off in Trump's visiting locker room.

You in the TSA line at the airport and make an ill timed joke about having to drop a bomb in the bathroom when you get past security they will immediately detain you and evacuate the terminal.

Here we just saw a dude spotting with a range finder and walking around the premise looking up at roofs for a reported three hours before Trump goes on stage.

Absolutely incredulous what we've seen so far.

Hire the military people wrongfully discharged for refusing the Covid shot into the USSS as reparations.

Is there any other legitimate use for a rangefinder outside of golf or determining range for a rifle shot? Something photography related, perhaps? Because he didn't have a camera other than his phone and nobody there was golfing that day. What the hell did they think he was using the rangefinder for? Trump should've never got on that stage until they had a good answer for that question and someone near Crooks at all times, if not in custody.

Asked this on another thread and didn't get any response...

What good does $20mm do you if your'e dead? I suppose if you knew something and you were terminally ill, and you wanted to see your surviving family set up financially for the future you might squeal.

Maybe it was not a conspiracy to kill him but was a conspiracy to allow whoever to kill him that included things like leaving a roof open at outside rallies. A conspiracy of intentionally poor protection.
This is where I am at, the sum total of incompetence led to an opening for someone to take a shot at Trump. But that is half the equation. How did this kid know exactly where to be and when? This whole thing stinks.

This is where I'm at - I can rationalize the SS but the kid is what trips me up

Either he's full crazy and was looking for the best opportunity to take out a lot of people, then realized he had the ultimate shot. But everything that's come out about him doesn't quite add up to full crazy.

Or he somehow knew that he'd be able to get up onto that building with a ladder. Looking at the property, it's not obvious that it wouldn't be guarded by SS. You could assume there's a good choice, but why roll up with the ladder if your plan can't accommodate that. It just brings more attention to yourself.

I was at LAX the night when they evacuated the terminals and stopped flights because some Hollywood & Highland street performer showed up in a Zorro costume.

I've never seen so many overweight Black females move as fast as the TSA Agents running past me to vacate the terminal.
