Still no post since the OP. Concerning.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

If he got help, he may not have access to a smart phone or the internet right now.

Hopefully that is the case

Tanya speaks facts.

Cell phones/laptops are taken away in an inpatient setting in order to focus on yourself and really take in psychotherapy/meds.

I don't want to be "that guy", but after trying psilocybin microdosing, I can certainly see how so many veterans with significant lingering trauma related issues are starting to use them and advocate for legalization, at least medically. Even Dan Crenshaw is publicly advocating. I can also see how it would help with addiction and even therapy sessions 100%. And even sleep, as long as you don't take after 7-8pm or so, as they can have a somewhat stimulating effect.

I always thought of shrooms as some hardcore trippy brain frying drug like LSD or DMT, and I am sure taking an irresponsible amount could backfire, but I had it wrong all along. Trying a low dose a few times might be worth a shot.

Best way I can describe it is that it seems to filter out all of the noise and negativity and stupid distractions that we let build up and handicap us over time. Cuts through that crippling doubt/anxiety/depression and gives you a sense of confident positivity…more courage to identify problems and flaws and commit yourself to working on them. Helped me go sober and reset my lifestyle.

CRAZY to me that this is illegal.

More important than anything imo though is spirituality. Then physical fitness and healthy diet. Those can solve a lot of life's problems, or at least bring you to a more manageable place. Also getting bloodwork done and making sure hormones are good.

Praying for you OP.

We can't have a naturally occurring plant cutting into big pharma's profits off a synthetic sleep aid now can we?

That's what this crap boils down to. Damn what's best for people.

Sorry to derail.

LSD shouldn't be tossed out for therapeutic purposes either. Researchers in the 50/60s got carried away with it and step away from ethics but it's starting to come back.

Ketamine is helping as well.

My point is, it's frustrating that alcohol is glamorized in the military and pills are the drug of choice for care. There are much more options than that.

A heart-warming response here. keep praying in confidence. Good people helping a good person who seeks help, that's almost a guarantee for eventual success and stability.

Hope all is well and definitely reachout at my username@gmail.com

As others have said, don't suffer in silence, there are so many resources and willing ears.

Sometimes dudes just need someone to talk to.
