I'm having another bad night. I haven't slept more than 3 hours every night the past week. I'm hitting speed dial for 988 as I post this. I've been doing so good for so long, I can't explain this hurt.

Hang in there man. My sleep patterns are 2 hrs sleep, 2 hrs up, back to 2 hrs sleep and so on. Up for good at 4am. So I can lend an ear if needed.

I just requested to TexAgs staff to create a veterans support board. I am 100% certain they will do it.
Edit - I realize there is already a "Military" board but a separate board for veteran's issues may be very helpful.

I don't sleep that much too, I sleep very early and wake up in the midnight, as soon as I'm up I find it hard to sleep back, if you need someone to talk to, I might still be up for a while.

Excellent idea Urban. Hopefully it will come to fruition. I do pray that usmcbrooks is okay at this moment, since we have not heard from him since the original post.
I get up really early seemingly a few minutes more every year. Averaging right around 5 hours sleep now. A vet board would be pretty cool, not sure if that makes sense or not.
I am blessed to sleep about 7-8 hours a night. But when I was y'all's age sleep was much more difficult. My prayer life has really helped.

Can't sleep. Usually no more than a few hours. I've got a dog sleeping on my feet though. He's happy and that's beautiful.

I don't know that it matters but if you're looking to talk to someone that's a veteran, say when and I'll be available.
The compassion displayed on this thread gives one hope in the human condition. May this man get the help he needs. And remember God too, listens.
If you are looking for somebody who is not a veteran, has never been shot at, and occasionally gets a sore ass from sitting on it too much at work, then I'm available.
