Worst part, if he really meant what he said, was the failure to call out the Scalise shooting by name as well as Antifa and BLM protests effects in concert with 1/6 and Pelosi attack. Partisan underhanded pandering when he had the chance. He just can't help himself, despite the intent.

The address was ridiculous. Both sides-ing this was inappropriate, not to mention bringing up the Whitmer and Pelosi bs. I'm not sure Pelosi's was even political or republican.
One side is directly calling the leader of the party a fascist, a dictatorial wannabe who threatens democracy. News media prints hitler-esque pictorials, celebrities fantasizing beheadings, and endless beat the drum that the leader is an evil, self serving man.
The other side says the leader is an old phony not in control of his faculties. The complaints are heavy on policy disagrees. The other side does not have the media authority to push such corrosive theories.
Maybe not tomorrow, but soon, the rhetoric will be back to trump is a threat and must be stopped at any cost.
