Wow. Josh Hawley’s whistleblower report is out and it’s incredibly damning. There needs to be mass resignations over this. They knew Crooks was suspicious an hour before he shot Trump but left the roof unattended due to heat outside.

It seems to me that the snipers on the most northerly building behind Trump could easily have made that shot, and that their trajectory would put it going through the left portion of his face and through the back of his skull. What I don't understand is how the medical examiner can determine the caliber when he had no bullet to recover so perhaps that part is wrong .

I certainly don't see how it would've been possible for someone on the ground to make that shot.

But, to your point, the Secret Service lying would not be out of the ordinary here.

The statement that is was a .223 just doesn't make sense if it came from the USSS snipers. They are equipped and train to hit targets at much greater distances that the best match grade .223 can reliably hit. I believe that they are using .300 WinMag rifles. The ME seems to be filling in specifics from assumptions about what type of rifle the snipers were equipped with.
