This whole thing is a national ****ing embarrassment. Many more people need to be fired.

Hundreds of people knew the assassin was there and the Secret Service did NOTHING until he had shot the President.

Seems apparent at this point that no one working the security for the event knew he had a weapon until a less than a minute before he fired. And that was just the two cops who tried to climb the roof.
It's apparent that's the narrative, anyway.

Yes. According to eye witnesses, multiple different parties who have testified in front of congress, multiple politicians including republicans, etc. Feel free to provide any evidence of another "narrative" that's being hidden.

All those you listed say all these instances were reported to the SS.

What we haven't heard was why with all these notices the few people actually in charge did nothing to stop Trump from getting on stage and did nothing to pull him off the stage.

Only takes a few people to direct a rather large team to act a certain way.

Well, multiple regular citizens on the ground were yelling he had a gun well prior to "a minute before", so....

I guess they know better how to do the SS' job better than they do? I mean, if they didn't know he had a weapon until right before the shot, what other conclusion could be drawn?

You see, they were too busy guarding the perimeter to see the building. A very small perimeter.

But, they couldn't see many people, INSIDE THE PERIMERER, yelling that there was a shooter on the roof.

So, they were not monitoring the perimeter or the building outside the perimeter.

Seems like they were doing what they were told to do by those in charge.

Only thing reported to the SS was that they were tracking someone suspicious who had been seen a few different times around the property. No one reported a weapon until right before the shooter fired. Not sure what the threshold was for postponing the event but I would guess that "weird loser 20 year old with what looks like a range finder" probably didn't meet it.

I think this is the problem everyone has with the entire situation. If multiple laypersons have video'd an assassination attempt on the former US President, how is it possible the US Secret Service, the most elite protective service in the history of the world, was unaware of the assassination attempt?

It's not without being intentionally negligent. It's honestly insulting to even have to argue the point. It's ridiculous on it's face.

There's no evidence any of this was reported to the SS and they were not in that area because it was outside of the perimeter and being covered by the local police per the SS's direction. Whether the building should have been inside the perimeter is a different story.

But also none of this happens if the two police snipers don't leave their post above where Crooks ended up, so it would seem like a pretty crappy conspiracy unless two random police snipers from PA are in on it.

Local police said the SS had no communications with local police. That is as deliberate as it gets to purposefully not want anyone on the detail to know of a shooter.

Multiple videos from multiple people. And there doesn't need much time for SS to pounce on Trump and get him the **** off the stage.

What kind of breakdown in communication would be required to necessitate this? How to you see this going on the ground, step by step? It seems like you're more than willing to accept we literally have Moe, Larry, and Curly working for the SS. You can't even make fun of it, it's beyond parody.

According to the police chief the report of a suspicious individual was sent to the shared command post, where SS would have been made aware of Crooks. The silo-ing of communications was one of the main flaws that has been shown so far since no one knows how long or how far it made it up the chain with the SS on site.

Still don't know that "suspicious individual on site that may or may not be here" should have been enough to cancel or postpone the event. But I'm sure it will be now.

Until they figured out he had a weapon? The fact that he had a weapon was being yelled at them for several minutes prior, at least. At the very least, they knew there was an unknown individual laying on the roof prone style. An individual they had deemed suspicious basically an hour prior. What, pray tell, prevented this from being communicated? Weapon or no weapon, that was known for quite some time.

Did they need a picture drawn for them? Maybe acted out charades style??

Gosh. "Outside of the perimeter" sounds like malfeasance.

The fact that he shot the President highlights the absurdity of this idea of a "perimeter" that did not include a roof top within 400 feet of the President, with a direct line of sight.

Seems like they were doing what they were told to do by those in charge.

Who inside the perimeter was yelling "shooter on the roof" more than right before he started firing?
Multiple videos from multiple people. And there doesn't need much time for SS to pounce on Trump and get him the **** off the stage.

I'm done talking about it. Don't want to catch a ban.

Can you link one of the videos? I haven't seen any of them showing multiple people from inside the perimeter yelling about a shooter for minutes.

I've seen one several times. I'm not doing your googling for you.

Cool. Figured you'd be happy to share evidence supporting your argument but I guess not.

FBI held a briefing call with media outfits today.

The ladder was not onsite. It was in the home in another town.

Quote:

On Monday, it came to light that the would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, had caught the attention of local law enforcement more than 90 minutes before Crooks fired the shots that injured Trump and two bystanders and killed local firefighter Corey Comperatore, who died shielding his family.
Quote:

Would-be Donald Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks landed on authorities' radar more than 90 minutes before he opened fire at the former president's Pennsylvania campaign rally roughly a half-hour more than what officials previously claimed according to newly released text messages.
Text messages between members of the Beaver County Emergency Service Unit obtained by the New York Times revealed a more concrete and earlier timeline leading up to the shooting that grazed the former president's ear, injured two rallygoers and killed one.
The messages also revealed that Crooks, 20, was aware of the law enforcement presence as he prepared his assassination attempt on the GOP nominee.
"Someone followed our lead and snuck in and parked by our cars just so you know," a counter-sniper texted a colleague as he headed out around 4:26 p.m.
There's more; the shooter is now known not to have used a ladder but to have climbed on top of an HVAC unit and then traversed several rooftops before arriving at the location from where he fired the shots.
Quote:

The FBI on Monday morning told reporters that would-be Trump assassin Thomas Crooks accessed the roof of a building near former President Trump's July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by climbing up HVAC equipment and piping.

Crooks then traversed multiple rooftops before he found his shooting position on top of a building owned by American Glass Research (AGR), located near the Butler Farm Show fairgrounds about 150 yards from where the former president spoke at his rally.
Quote:

Over the next hour, law enforcement identified a building of interest, and snipers took photos of Crooks and his bicycle left near the rally grounds. Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley, who was briefed on the assassination attempt, previously told Fox News Digital that a sniper "had eyes on" the suspicious person about 20 minutes before Crooks began firing.
LINK

The part about the bicycle I am not that sure of. Other reports have said the bicycle and packs near it were not related to Crooks? So stand by on that one.

Well, multiple regular citizens on the ground were yelling he had a gun well prior to "a minute before", so....

I guess they know better how to do the SS' job better than they do? I mean, if they didn't know he had a weapon until right before the shot, what other conclusion could be drawn?

There's no evidence any of this was reported to the SS and they were not in that area because it was outside of the perimeter and being covered by the local police per the SS's direction. Whether the building should have been inside the perimeter is a different story.

But also none of this happens if the two police snipers don't leave their post above where Crooks ended up, so it would seem like a pretty crappy conspiracy unless two random police snipers from PA are in on it.

Not reported to the SS?? People were literally screaming it at LEO for several minutes. That doesn't get to SS through what, an oopsie?

What kind of breakdown in communication would be required to necessitate this? How to you see this going on the ground, step by step? It seems like you're more than willing to accept we literally have Moe, Larry, and Curly working for the SS. You can't even make fun of it, it's beyond parody.

From their police chief, the local cops didn't report anything to the SS about a shooter until they figured out that he had a weapon.

Have we all forgotten there is video evidence of the two closest snipers on red barn trained on the shooters building for at least :42. Does not matter if the tree blocked their view they had to be aware of a threat.

And nobody considers somebody in shorts and shirt traversing rooftops a threat.

They failed to act when an immediate response was required.

USSS likely discounted the reports thinking locals amped up trying to be John McClain.

USSS probably sees overvigelance from locals so much they desensitized to it.

The people "yelling about the shooter having a gun" were actually outside the "fenced in perimeter ", even though they were within 100 or so yards from the stage where Trump was speaking from. That last video posted was made by a man who was actually in between the shooter and Trump. He was filming in the direction (back towards) the shooter, but the shooter was not visible.

Quote:

They confirmed that they have recovered eight shell casings from the roof of the AGR building. Additionally, they said the model of the gun recovered was a DPMS AR-15, chambered to 5.56 ammunition. The FBI said the weapon was purchased legally by Crooks' father and legally transferred by the father to the son last year.
Quote:

The FBI claimed the Crooks family, his father Matthew, mother Mary, and older sister Katherine, have been completely cooperative so far, and that nothing was indicative that Crooks was planning an assassination. Thomas did not 'hoard' ammunition or speak about any plans for violence, the FBI says.
Quote:

The FBI said that the bicycle observed at the location, and the backpacks associated with the bike, are now known to be unrelated to Thomas Crooks.

The FBI said Crooks' weapon had a collapsible stock which allowed him to carry it in a backpack and allowed him to get into position on the roof of the American Glass Research building. They were still trying to determine how he otherwise concealed the rifle until just prior to the shooting, since Crooks was not observed with either a backpack or a rifle about an hour prior to the shooting when he was seen sitting outside the AGR building.
Quote:

The FBI call featured Kevin Rojek, who is the Special Agent in Charge (SAIC), of the Pittsburgh Field Office, along with Bobby Wells, who is the FBI's Counter-terrorism and National Security Division Director.
The FBI claimed they have conducted 450 interviews so far in the case, and have sent out 86 "legal service process requests for data and content' to companies. They also claimed to have processed and screened 2,100 tips in the forms of writings, photos, and videos so far.
The investigation as it relates to Crooks' potential motives, so far only show that he had an interest in shooting that began as a hobby, and developed into a more serious commitment over time, the FBI said. They continue to look into electronic information, including multiple cell phones, laptops, memory cards, gaming accounts, messaging platforms, online search engines, emails, to determine Crooks' intentions.
Quote:

The FBI said that Crooks' internet search history specifically searched, "How far away was Oswald from Kennedy?" and he also made searches they felt were related to power plants, improvised explosive devices, as well as details about the attempted assassination of populist Slovakian Prime Minister Fico in May. Current and former Presidents were also generally searched.
"His search history indicates he was involved in careful and deliberate planning prior to the attack on President Trump."
The FBI claimed that many of his firearms and chemical purchases were made using aliases and encrypted email systems using foreign servers. They claimed that Crooks registered to attend the Trump rally on July 6th, and on the same day did research related to Lee Harvey Oswald, the alleged assassin of President John F. Kennedy.
Quote:

Also on July 6th, claims the FBI, Crooks did a walkaround and surveillance of the Butler Farm Show Airfield location for 20 minutes.
Quote:

The Bureau confirmed that they recovered two explosive devices near the rally, and one in his room at his residence, where they also found ammo boxes filled with explosive materials and ignition devices. They said neither IED found in his car exploded and both were in the 'off' position, but were capable of being exploded.
Quote:

The IED found at Crooks' home was non-functional, they said.
The drone used by Crooks was located in his car, but was missing any memory chip. It was theorized that he used the drone while simply watching its flight from his phone, they said.
The FBI said that Crooks arrived to the Trump rally at 3:45pm, parked, and flew his drone for around ten minutes from 3:50pm-4:00pm starting near the site of the rally, around 200yards from site of rally.

And the one tip they needed fell on deaf ears.

Someone on the roof with a gun and getTrump offstage.

But that didn't happen for some unknown reason, and they can beat the file all they want and dazzle us with numbers of tips and process requests. But the main issue here is why the two people in position to see the shooter and deal with the shooter inexplicably abandoned their post.

Trillions spent in the name of homeland security but we cant get an encrypted radio system that is compatible with local LE.

Predicted on day 2 they would eventually come round to say that radios weren't compatible.

And they did.

How many incdents over the years where incompatable comms systems be a cause or contributing factor?

That was the main driver after 9-11. We'll create a massive DHS beuraucracy so that 'we can communicate better and share information.'

Then when it's nut-cuttin' time, suddenly nobody can communicate.

Locals cannot afford the same equipment as the feds' unlimited budget. There is also the bidding process.

But flip the script: would it be better if the feds mandated equipment through their own bidding process? We recently saw what happens when one company has too much control in the Crowdstrike situation.

Such Bull***** 27 years ago my outfit would pass out radios to any LEA who didn't have compatible coms and extra batteries and chargers. Back then they were all motorolas and could be programmed over the air. I believe it was called OTARS.

Lets sub out security tasking but not communicate with them is beyond comprehension.

The simple solution would be for the usss to have enough communication devices on hand to give out to any needed local law enforcement temporarily and gather when they leave. Unlimited budget and all-and that would not even be a large expense in the scheme of things. The fact this is allowed and has been ongoing(lack of communication) is incredible. Has this always been the case? One big note. You do not need some huge conspiracy involving hundreds. You simply need a few people in charge continually putting inept people/understaffing these assignments when there is a credible threat. Eventually, you get the desired outcome…

So much money was wasted after 9-11 on useless equipment for local LE. There was grant money available for anything tangentially related to homeland security. We saw the militarization of local police over a 23-year period. Problem with that is you give somebody a big hammer and everything looks like a nail, which results in a SWAT team rollling up in an APC accidentally busting down memaw's door.

And that seems like a problem going forward.

Half the battle with USSS was their reputation of being on point.

Now every na'er-do-well or crazy dumbass is watching all this go down.
