Agreed, well deserved resignation and I think that also has to do with the news winding down. People were able to see someone get punished and put down the pitchforks - although sadly I'm sure she had some kind of sweet pension deal and/or will just go back to some rich corporate job.

A report will get written at some point. We may or may not see the evidence. But none of that is going to happen in the next 99-days until election. You figure that with a security breach this big it would be all hands on deck effort to get to the bottom of it. As a general rule, assassination attempts don't beget political and economic stability one way or the other. Seems like it should be a bigger deal and dropped out of the news cycle much faster than most would have predicted 2-weeks ago.

I mean that move loses a bit of credibility when the successor is the person who actually declined the requests for additional support. She fell on her sword as a figure head just to put the actual main perpetrator in the seat at the top.

Conservative media is still talking…why would the side who refuses to even admit he was shot keep talking about it and build him up. Two weeks ago they said Joe was good to go and now they say Kamala is the best grass roots nominee to ever grace the ticket.

I only heard it one time during the confusion immediately after the shooting but one of the stations initially reported that the shooter was a Chinese national.

You can really only see one side of his face. Think I saw the sniper could only really see his eye and forehead and scope maybe. Looks like he could have been hit right above his left eye. The back of his head on the left (his right) also has a bump to his head shape. Exit could have been there and the angle of the pic just doesn't show as large of an exit wound as it actually was. If he was laying prone though, an entry near his eye would have an exit right where that bump area is.

That is even worse. Hundreds of people were watching him/ Many people were filming him.

Quite a few cops were observing him and not a single person questioned him/patted him down? Sounds intentional to me.

I still do not understand the two-man counter sniper team leaving their post to go look for Crooks. Why would they both leave? That is just beyond incompetence.

they either knew for a fact there was only one shooter acting alone so everyone was 100% safe after they neutralized the one shooter.... or, once DJT was whisked away into a vehicle, their job was over so they were free to go check out their kill shot and not worry about any risk of any other shooters.

You're thinking of a different sniper team. The two he was referring to left their post BEFORE Trump was shot. And that left the roof Crooks was on unprotected. Had one of them stayed on top, they would have seen him on the roof prior to the shot.
