Mayorkas already said he has 100% trust in her.

Sure her agency almost lost a protectee but that didn't drop her trust even to 99%

We will be given a lot of answers.

I doubt much of it will be the truth.

I thought he had a car at the rally….not a van. I thought the van was back at his home…you know, the one they towed away with the "Arizona" plates. I'm still wondering how a guy who's lived in Pennsylvania his whole life has a van with Arizona plates. (Maybe he had recently purchased it used, and hadn't had time to change the plates yet?)….still very strange to me.
How much money did this 20-year old kid have? My son is 20 and working this summer and he doesn't have that kind of cash. We're relatively well off and I know what money my wife and I give our son. How could he afford all this gear including an out-of-state van?

I saw an interview with Eric Trump yesterday where he said that one of the female agents (not sure which one he was referring to) has done an amazing job providing support to Trump and his family over the years and is a very close friend of his now and asked people to stop making comments online about her.

Only for the ones that are equity targets though. The men still have to perform well enough physically that they would be in shape.

Serious question - how is money "diverted to DEI" actually spent? Recruiting? Higher salaries for DEI hires? Not doubting this at all, just can't imagine how the money is being spent.
DEI is a distraction. Incompetence is the story. If they can keep Republicans talking DEI they deflect from incompetence. Even if a focus on DEI caused the incompetence as long as people focus on the DEI aspect they can be dismissed bigots and misogynists and the incompetence can be ignored. Don't fall for the trap. Focus on the failure. Once that is acknowledged the rest takes care of itself
DEI isn't a distraction, it is the mechanism by which the selection of competent people for hiring and promotion is supplanted by a hiring and promotion criteria based on gender, race, and sexual preference. You can't get competence to be the criteria for hiring, retention, and promotion when quotas and "goals" are allowed.
This x 1000. The two topics are not separable.

Ok…..I'm trying to put this together…so lots of news reports about the shooter's "car" parked near the rally and was found with explosive devices in it. However…it seems the "car" was actually a van? It was towed away on the night of the assassination…I had it misconstrued because a "car" doesn't necessarily equal a "van!" Plus Fox said "neighbor" filmed van being towed away and i assumed "neighbor" (please don't post Arnold S State Farm memes at me) meant across the street from shooter's home. Anyway….IF the van isn't a car and was towed away from near the rally…still doesn't answer why the Arizona plates? Yes I guess he either rented it (although it's in pretty bad shape with paint peeling off) or perhaps he purchased it and hadn't changed the plates…but I'd like to know more about the van.

I've read that if he had been 3 feet further to the right (in that picture) he would have had full concealment from both counter sniper teams. Probably coulda gotten off at least a dozen more shots.
He wasn't' quite set up where they told him. That's why the fbi is washing off the marks they gave him on the roof.

Ok never mind…I've read he drove a Sonata to the rally…so the van must have been at his home! I guess if we could get a pic of the plates someone could see who it was registered to?

Parents most likely.

As was mentioned earlier in this thread, could be a rental or a used vehicle that they just got.

It would suck for someone if they were just visiting the parents and got their vehicle towed for simply being there.

He didn't need much money, especially since he didn't have to buy the gun.

Bought 50 rounds of 5.56mm, that's about $20-$50 depending on the brand, quality, and specific type of round.

Range finder, a very basic one is around $100.

A few magazines, $25-$75, depending on the brand and capacity. (If had had any drum mags, those would be $100+ each.)

As for the van they towed from the house; doesn't mean it was his. They were going to take anything they thought might be of interest. Heck, the car he drove might have belong to his parents and they just let him used it since he still lived with them.

Without knowing what he had in his vehicle, no way to say how much that cost. A very crude device could be gas cans with something to set them off. Again, not overly expensive unless he somehow acquired some kind of high explosives. Plenty of sources out there, online and in print, that tell people how to make IEDs.

Anyway, so for the sake of discussion, lets say he spent $500-$750 on everything in the weeks leading up to the shooting. He would have known he was either going to die, or go to prison so running up his credit card would have not matter to him at all.

Here's where I first saw about the van. It sounds like the van was near the rally (not shooter's home)….must have had something important in it for the cops to jump back….and so who's is it near the rally IF shooter drove there in a Sonata? IF the van was put there earlier by the shooter…who helped him get back home?? Uber?? The plot thickens!

Still doesn't say who owned it, just what happened when it was investigated and removed.

New info on the cop on the roof. Did not use a ladder. The roof is only one story high.

Quote:

WPXI said sources said Crooks was still on the ground when Trump began speaking.

Kinght said there was then "a radio transmission indicating that there was a suspicious individual on the rooftop, [and it] was my understanding [that] was our officers' first notification to begin moving towards that building.

"Two of the officers went to what appeared to be the lowest point from ground to roof. One of the officers actually boosted the second officer up high enough for him to grab hold of the roof. He did in fact see an individual on the roof with a weapon."

Crooks pointed his rifle at the officer, Knight said, as the officer hung on to the roof with both hands, unable to reach his radio or his own weapon.

The officer "lost his own grip and fell approximately eight feet to the ground".
Shortly after that, Crooks opened fire.
