Yes, I understand that this is a shot that is super-duper easy for anybody that has shot a rifle any amount at all. Even though I haven't shot for the last 20 years and now enjoy limited visual acuity with bifocals, I feel like I could sight in a rifle handed to me with a box or two of shells and an afternoon at the range and probably make a similar shot. However, "without much prep" doesn't mean without any prep at all. "Repeatedly" doesn't mean more often than not making a first cold shot without warming up. The guy is a bullied 20yo psycho loner who failed to qualify for a HS rifle team according to former classmates.
When/where/how did he get his "limited" prep? Was he a recent visitor to the range or was he a regular trying to keep his skills fresh (like most of the "easy shot" posters here) or was he a novice shooter using his dad's rifle while having a psychotic break that somehow managed to outsmart the SS with optimal positioning on an unsecured rooftop 150 yards away and nearly pull off the first presidential assassination in 60+ years?
Or was he something else?
