that is a photo of the bullet, good lord people. When an object is traveling much faster than the shutter speed (or framerate) of the camera, it leaves streaks.

As an extreme example, if you took a photo with a 5 second exposure and walked across the frame, your body would leave a streak. This is the same thing, except like what was already explained above.

It's the vapor trail. Spotters can see it sometimes to let their partner know if they're on point or not.

Something doesn't smell right with this whole thing.

Was the latter placed there prior?
Was the gun put up there prior?
Was the shooter told to go up there and do this and everything would be ready?

No way a young, unstable person could actually carry this out with no help.

Saw a video where a woman is telling the shooter to get down from there. Not sure that's a real video.

Good read. Article says 1/8,000th shutter speed (wow) so a trail about 4 inches long.

And perspective is funny. That projectile could be closer to the camera than Trump (instead of having passed behind him). That would make the streak longer and the projectile larger.

There's no way to tell.

Looks like BP also has ROTC, but just pointing it out.

I've been saying for months that before the election there would be a major grid/EMP event knocking out a portion of the USA grid. Maybe for weeks even…
That would end up being a democrat problem. They are in charge. I don't see that happening.

Don't think the sniper team in the videos are tbe ones to shoot back. They look liked they fumbled around too much.

In this video you see a second sniper team. Likely tbe ones.

Still, 500' is a long shot if he just spin and shot. If the cop was breathing down on him like reported, he wouldn't had the time to get fully set and braced.

Again, if the report I commented on is true, then this guy was an expert marksman.
160 yards is not a long shot by any means. It's actually a fairly easy shot to pull off. Marines--every single one- are trained to fire from 200, 300, and 500 meters in Boot Camp. The 200 meter shots are actually rapid fire. That's with iron sights, in a standing, or 'off hand' shooting position. No scope or additional aid at all.
