The X-thread you linked even quotes the Butler Township Comm stating THEY DID SOMETHING when locals pointed out the shooter.

Yeah, a lot of us agree there is something fishy, but stick to KNOWN FACTS and stop quoteing known falsehoods (Not you poster, but the X-threads and other BS posted that are flat out FALSE),
Ok but what wasn't done was removing Trump from an insecure, even threat, at the scene.

Between all the warnings or not, the moment ALL 4 counter snipers from the SS, stopped scanning their assigned sectors and trained in on a single location for at least :42, regardless of having him in their sights, they had lost control of security for the event and Trump should have been removed from the scene until the potential threat investigated and cleared allowing security control of the entire event to be reestablished.
This is the biggest red flag of all that needs to be answered for.

Either someone on Trump's detail ignored or did not receive the communication of the immediate threat, or someone outside of Trump's detail chose not to relay the threat information to Trump's detail.

Edit to add that the timing between events is still being sorted, but with the information we have now it appears there was sufficient warning that there was at a minimum several seconds where SS could have surrounded Trump.

I thought they said tactical team, not sniper nest though people assumed due to the location and distance it would be a sniper team. Maybe the thought was to keep watch and remove a potential threat location?

But it's all confusing so I'm not sure either way tbh.

Complete disregard for the life of the former president. Stoke the hate then offer substandard protection, and a thorn in the current administration's side disappears. There is no other explanation for the proposed legislation, the half-assed staffing, the half-assed protection, and now the cover up.

I don't think they plotted with the kid, but they sure served up an easy opportunity and I'm guessing there have been many easy opportunities this year. Someone finally took advantage of it

I understand everyone's desire to defend the SS agents and not blame them for their leadership's decisions.

But there were so many failures on Saturday that I can't absolve them of guilt.

I hate to say this, but the SS has been corrupted at the same level as the FBI. We no longer trust the individual FBI agents as we used to. Unfortunately I fear the SS has devolved to the same level as the FBI.

Everything surrounding this investigation should have the maximum level of transparency.

No redactions, no closed hearings no scooping up video and audio recordings never to be seen or heard from again, no claiming records exempt on the basis of an ongoing investigation.

No claiming exempt on the basis it might reveal operational tactics either. You **** up this bad and have a security breach this bad theres no objection to be made on that front.

Don't see how they dick-the-dog on this, but full expect that's what'll happen.
