I generally don't like listening to talking heads but end up listening to Julie Mason sometimes. She has been an absolute riot by the way since last Friday.

Anyway she had a guest on not long ago that was venting about all of the former partisan hacks getting jobs in media and calling themselves journalists so you just end up with political messaging instead of real journalism. And the list really is seemingly endless and to her point was how you end up with controlled media.

She made the point that Stephanopoulos was the exception to that in her mind. That he was a true professional journalist first and foremost.

I didn't have an opinion one way or another on him specifically but I did find a lot of truth in the broader conversation.

Knowing old joe, he might need to lie down.

Let's see if this "Journalist" treats Biden how he treated Mace. Plenty of material to shame Biden, doubt we see it.

We will know a lot by George's demeanor in this.

If he pushes Biden, we will know the code red in well underway.

If he coddles him. Biden has agreed to step down and it's just a matter of playing it out.

If he blows sunshine up his ass and helped with answers via teleprompter or heavy edits, the DNC has agreed to keep riding this dead horse.

It is a sham. Plain and simple. If the Biden White House was remotely serious about convincing the American People that Biden is mentally competent, they would choose someone other than a former Dem WH Press Secretary to make the case.

More Americans are realizing every day that there is a list of "Journalists" that have NO intention of informing public opinion - only shaping it.

Stephanopoulos sits at the top of that list. He is no more credible than Psaki, Maddow, Reid, etc. He is a propagandist. As such, not surprising at all that Biden will run to him to help try to rehabilitate his shattered image.

It's not even going to be aired live, because they know they will have to heavily edit the slurring/question-responses. George is a good propagandist, but this is how desperate they are to cover.

I 100% disagree. Stephanopoulos is nothing more than a partisan hack. I have listened to his takes multiple times, and the takeaway is consistenlty hard left... to the point where he has gone on the hard attack against conservative guests where he knew he was 100% wrong, but it went against the narrative of the day.

His exchange with Nikki Haley recently re. Biden's competence is top of mind. I can come up with MANY more if need be..

ETA: The Nancy Mace clip above is another prime example. Stephanopoulos went on the attack trying to corner Mace and her support of Trump using the fact that a civil judgement in a biased court was won to come to his own conclusion that Trump was a rapist, full stop. George never questioned the politics of the judge, the fact that the 'victim' couldn't remember the year the 'act' took place, the fact that the dress she 100% knew she was wearing had not been designed or released yet, or the fact that the scenario presented by the 'vicitm' was literally a Law an Order episode from a prior season, right down to the Department Store name. None of that mattered. They got their judgement, and everything could build off of that. Or so he thinks.

Classic George tactics. And extremely transparent as to HIS motives.

The first question of the interview should be Stephanopolous asking Biden to draw a clock showing the time of 3:30.

Nicki claimed Biden wouldn't finish his term. Implying Kamala would replace him after he resigns. That could happen, but it's more likely he just withdraws from the re-election race, and finishes his single term.

But generally speaking, she was right that it won't be Biden that is the candidate for 2024, which many of us have been saying for a long time. And George was wrong for acting like it's absurd to think Biden isn't fit for another term.
