It never actually happened though. My place of business (aviation sector, high visibility from OSHA, some government contracts) never had a covid shot requirement.

Fortune 50 here and they used the mandate to require it. North of 100k employees. Ultimately had to back off but the damage was already done

Saying it never happened is extremely disingenuous. It did happen. Then it got challenged and ultimately flipped, but that played out over months while businesses were working to get compliant. dishonest arguments seem to be the norm from one side when it comes to covid

Ah so it only applied if over 100k employees then? That's a pretty important detail to leave out.
A lot of nurses in Houston lost their jobs over the jab. Lost their lawsuit too.
I think that, to be very honest with you, I do believe that we should have rightly believed, but we certainly believe that certain issues are just settled.

Actually OSHA tried to require it for any company over 100 employees. Let's not forget that the FED required any hospital/clinic that receives Medicare/Medicaid to require employees to get vaccinated for a good while too.

You can knock off your disingenuous BS now because you continue to be wrong.

Lying left-wing radical.

Biden mandated it. Either that or implement draconian, expensive testing which companies could not afford to do. The court had to kill it. Once he announced it, companies began implementing out of fear of reprisal and fear of employee lawsuits. That's exactly what that that POS trash you support wanted.

"On Thursday, November 4, 2021, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued its Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) applicable to employers of 100 or more employees. The ETS requires employers to adopt a soft vaccine mandate obligating employees to either get vaccinated or to undergo regular COVID-19 testing and to wear a face covering at work."

He also mandated for all healthcare facilities that accepted Medicaid and Medicare to force vaccinations. He killed Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements if workers were not vaxxed. Every worker was forced to get the vax or be fired. My DIL was forced to get a vax or lose her job, you lying left-wing Marxist.

All federal employees, contractors and international air travelers were mandated to get the vax or be fired or not fly.

Why does staff allow this left wing lying troll to continue to post here?

The ETS was if you had > 100 employees.

My company has tens of thousands of employees. We do business with the federal government. We are required to follow DOT standards. There was no vaccine requirement for employees. I'm simply going off my own experiences here.

It wasn't implemented the way it has been described. So I'm not wrong. Because if it did, it would have impacted my place of business.

To be clear, everything I've said in this thread has referenced the implementation, not the attempt. I'll take fault in the miscommunication there.

I put in a religious exemption in order to not get fired. If they wouldn't have accepted it, I would have quit to avoid the clot shot. Around 5000 employee company.

They issued it November 5th and companies were required to be compliant by Jan 10. It wasn't reversed until late January. Compliance doesn't happen overnight, so most companies with > 100 and subject to OSHA went into full "get compliant" mode right away

Who tried to make the covid vaccine compulsory at the government level?

Private businesses can do what they want. But I don't recall ever seeing this required for school attendance or entry into public buildings. Please let me know if this was ever a thing, as I could just be ignorant on the topic.
The Biden administration did all they could to try to make everyone take the shot.

OSHA regulations

Military

Biden executive order -- any company that did business with the US Government had to have a Covid vaccine mandate.

I had to submit several pages of a religious exemption application in order to remain employed with my company because they sell to the US Government.

So private businesses could only "do what they want" if they wanted to lose government contracts. For some companies that would be a death knell.

Explain to them exactly how it was not implemented.

I remember being told that "language evolves" when I pointed out the change in the CDC definition. At least one prominent poster at the time insisted that the change in definition was merely coincidental with the mrna vaccine and NOT because the covid shot did not provide immunity.

Ok, you are obviously ******ed, so I'll cut you some slack. But you are absolutely wrong here. Why else did people have to fake vaccination cards? To travel, to work, to go into some cities. All of those are government or government influenced policies. Local democratic ****holes took their direction from fedgov.

Let's be clear about what happened. The ETS was issued and large employers had to start preparing to
Implement the requirement. I was on the team that had to build the procedures, including handling requests for accommodation. Large employers spent small fortunes to create the processes necessary to implement the ETS. Thankfully, the USSC invalidated the ETS for non-healthcare employees but allowed it to remain in the healthcare sector.

Biden's DOL implemented a mandate. Thankfully, the courts stopped it - but barely.

The government did try and require it. They were only stopped by the courts. First stayed with respect to private institutions and then later federal.

You were days away from having to (if you worked for a company with more than 100 people) and if you were in healthcare, the USSC did not save you - they allowed the requirement to stand.

I don't understand why you continue to make these statements. This history is quite well known:

Here is the new definition:
  • Vaccine "a preparation that is used to stimulate the body's immune response against diseases."

That's why I chose the covid mRNA for my wife whos natural immunse system does not function properly though we did know exactly why at the time.

We found out a few years later she has hypoglobulimemia and she receives a monthly IvIG transfusion

But part of this discovery was she had antibodies for covid, though nothing much else because of the covid "vaccine"

You're assuming it was the pre-therapeutic, but there is no way to prove that, either way. Its efficacy isn't very high, even for that. But it's awesome your wife made that weakass virus her *****!

Well, like I said she basically had no other antibodies. That included a recent bout with West Nile and a test run vaccine she was given to test her antibody response before giving her IvIG in which there was no response.

Giant coincidence I guess

I don't carr what you call it. How it works is nothing new, I did the research and choose it for this reason and whether you want to call it a vaccine or a therapeutic is irrelevant for the reason and purpose I chose it. There is no new information here in how it works. We all knew this before it was released

Why would her body respond differently to the COVID vax? If I understand what you're saying, I don't think that is scientific.
