It is very obvious that there is an agenda with the recruitment staff at the Disney Parks. I would estimate that 25-30% of the frontline employees that either run the rides or interact directly with guests are of the LGBTQ persuasion. Some rides that involve a bit of acting or storytelling by the ride attendants the percentage is much higher. The parks have almost a caste system it seems, the snack bar/cafeteria and janitor teams are all staffed by what appear to be straight, Hispanic employees and any position that puts the employee directly out in front of guests let's just say they have a different set of qualifications they look for in hiring.
My daughter just got back from a 4 day weekend to Orlando with 2 other friends spent in the parks. She was amazed that the stand-by lines averaged 5-10 minutes for EVERY ride. They rode rides that we waited 45 minutes to 1:15 WITH fastpass multiple times. They normally waited for 1-2 groups on Everest.
Early June with kids just out of school, and DisneyWorld is basically empty.
This must be costing Disney a fortune.
(Btw, she said the Tron ride was abysmal. They rode it once.)
