If they wanted trump in jail, they would have found a harsher crime. Yes prison is a possible sentencing choice but based on a lack of prior record he will probably get probation and maybe house arrest for a short period. He'll also have to move to a state that allows felons to vote as New York and Florida do not allow felons to vote as of now.

Part of me will think that sucks because I sure would love for Trump to be a felon forever. But if the appeals court finds that the charges don't meet the letter of the law then it is what it is.

True. It wasn't designed for women to leave the house, much less get an education or a job. It wasn't designed for African-Americans to not be slaves, etc. yet here we are. I'm thinking the country will continue to not look like it was when we were younger, the same way it's looked to each previous generation over the past century. Still, their children were raised and lived their lives to be the best possible, and so will the generations that come after us.
