I didn't vote for Biden. I also didn't vote for trump. I've said many times on this board - if the GOP wants my support, it needs to suck less. Right now it's a venal, aimless, and leaderless group that can't seem to accomplish anything but slow the dems down and then surrender and give them what they want. The GOP is like a more pathetic Charlie Brown trying to kick the football much to the Dem's (Lucy's) delight.

Biden is the worst president of my liftetime. But trump wasn't a good president. He was better than Biden. But still not good. He **** the bed with his Covid response. He also was unable to control the administrative state.

Unless things change, I will continue to vote 3rd party, which means libertarian.

You mean you didn't vote for Trump because you didn't like Mean Tweets?!

I don't care about the tweets. And I came closer to voting for trump than I have any republicans presidential candidate since I did vote for Bush (both terms). But ultimately I didn't because trump 1) failed spectacularly with Covid; 2) spent like a democrat; and 3) was completely unable to control the administrative state.

Like I've said many times - if the republicans want my vote they need to earn it by being actual conservatives versus what they are now. Which is a bunch of pathetic losers who are in it for themselves.

So what 3rd party? Any libertarian candidate has been worse than the Dems on everything except spending. And even at that they have no real plan to cut it. These aren't the same libertarians when Ron Paul was running.

RFK as an independent? That's just a Democrat with some more conservative foreign policy and wanting to spend money differently.

I'm with you though. I voted for Bush in 2000 and libertarian ever since (wrote in Ron Paul in '16) until I voted Trump in '20. Democrats and a large chunk of the Republican Party are systematically wrecking our country. As far as politicians are concerned, Trump is hated by all democrats and most republicans. If a vast majority of our current politicians hate a presidential candidate, there's a reason they don't want him to get in their way of their self serving destruction.

It amazes me that life-long democrat voters, who probably loved Bill Clinton, have let pravda convince them that the GOP is "insane", radical, etc. Listen to Bill Clinton's 1996 State of the Union Address, after he lost congress to republican control. Nearly his whole speech would be considered far right wing radical insane GOP today. The left has gone off the deep end - flipped from pro-laborer and anti-big business to pro elitist and monopoly money, flipped from pro free speech to full on censoring and imprisoning what they don't like to hear, and people can't even see what's right in front of their faces.

Just let the Democrats walk in and for four more years:

Confirm hundreds of more progressive federal judges
Possibly confirm more left wing radical SCOTUS justices
Continue to allow unfettered immigration of third world immigrants
Continue to enable the trafficking of people and drugs across our border
Further weaponization of the judiciary and law enforcement against conservatives and Republicans
Continue to buy votes by funding progressive causes with our tax dollars
Further the racial divide
Further weaken our position on the world stage
Continue to attack the gun rights of Americans
Crush businesses with taxes and regulations

If they get both houses they could eliminate the filibuster and:
Stack SCOTUS
Add PR/DC as states
Give amnesty/citizenship to millions of illegals
Enact voting "rights" legislation designed to empower Democrats perpetually.

Great plan, that'll really show the Republicans by screwing over regular Americans.

The time for infighting is the primary.

No it's not. The time for fighting is the primary and the general election. If we had a viable 3rd party - any party - then the 2 big parties would have to show actual improvement versus pointing a finger at the other side and saying "at least we aren't them".

Is "at least we aren't them" how you make any other decision? If it is then at least you're consistent. If it's not maybe you should protest and vote 3rd party.

Could not possibly disagree more!

I'm not going to vote 3rd party because I'm not an idiot that would throw away my vote on a 3rd party in a system where 2 parties will ALWAYS be the only possible outcome. Three parties will always coalesce into two in our system.

I couldn't possibly care less about "at least we aren't them". I want the chaos and destruction foisted upon us by the Democrats, the American hating scum bags that fund them, their MSM propagandists, bureaucratic/judicial goons, and their idiot voters to stop or at least be slowed down as much as humanly possible at every election. That's it and there's only one alternative. That alternative can be molded but the general is not the time to do so.

Sitting back and letting the Democrats win because you're upset with the Republican party is the worst possible choice forward and will only result in more pain and suffering for you and your family. The idea that out of the ashes is going to rise a more conservative Republican party that is capable of clawing back the damage done by the Democrats in the meantime is utopian BS that has no basis in reality.

Again the time to make changes is in the primary.

So, nothing is going to change, so I should just give up working toward having something better?

I get that some folks can accept that.

But it's not something that I'm going to accept.

If I don't vote (which is the decision most make) then no message gets sent. But if enough people reject the major parties then both will improve. Including the democrats. It would be awesome if the dems became less bsc and more mainstream. Better for the USA if they regain sanity versus impersonating Thelma and Louise as they drive over the cliff.

That sucks if you can't defend the great and wonderful Joe Biden and his record, who is, by far, the most popular politician our nation has ever known, without engaging in some of these:

Always a victim...

If you cant defend your Biden vote, or anti-Trump vote if that's what you want to call it, then maybe you should reconsider your vote itself.

There are only two options. Vote for Marxism or vote for some resemblance of freedom. Anyone who is saying Biden is bad but I can't vote for Trump is voting for Marxism. You can do all the mental gymnastics you want to make yourself feel better but the reality is you hate this country. And I don't like Trump but there is no other option.
