This is pretty terrible but still not on the same level as when it is a 13 or 14 year old boy and it's especially tragic when the teacher gets pregnant. That's the hard core sociopath type. I'm happy to see this lady disgraced and off to jail, feel bad for her husband and terrible for her kids though. Can't imagine how someone deals with their Mom having this kind of thing with a student younger than you.

True, but he was getting the mug shot look of her since it was 3:00 a.m.

Perhaps it was the lights shining on them when he got a different look at her, realized she wasn't the same thing he saw during school hours. Maybe that's why he wrecked.

The news article never used the word rape. In my opinion, she absolutely raped a minor and should be held accountable. Just because it's not a 45 year-old man and a 17 year-old girl, does not make this better? Where are all the feminist who want equality? We can start with equal jail sentencing for child rape.

This is aweful and should have an extended jail punishment for these (D)em groomers.

Age of consent in Nebraska looks to be 16. I think the actual charge is because she is a school employee and he is a student. It's more a charge based on abuse of power versus one of sexual assault of a minor.

A 17 year old girl is more mature and more of a woman, than a 17 year old boy is a man.
Males are very stupid and immature at 17. I know, I was there long ago.

Expecting feminists to show up and comment is a fool's errand. Those worthless creatures are only good to shout on Linkedin and Twitter about how a woman makes 77 cents to a dollar a man makes. And to demand "a seat at the high table" for a woman which she did not earn, or build herself.

Why not fight to become a skyscraper welder? Why not equality there? They need big strong brave men to do those jobs while those ladies sit in airconditioned rooms wearing high heels pretending to be high powered execs.
